Ha ha, I was wondering why the guests on the main page and episode page were different, and I thought the guy on the episode page seemed familiar.

You might be onto something. This week's description starts with this, which I suppose may or may not mean anything - "We are back in the comfort of the hatch yet again on this week’s Professor Blastoff!"

EPISODE 5 - Mars Base 3
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Amazing. He says it SO casually that it's even funnier than the cartoonish (even more than their actual cartoonishness, I mean) impression of it. -
Oh, awesome! Feels like it's been a while since they've done something that's on Netflix (Safe Haven, I think). Also, this means I get to further delay answering the question "Will I ever use my VCR again?" since I have this movie on VHS.

Good timing on the Littlest Hobo discussion given that this just came out - http://www.vice.com/en_ca/read/an-oral-history-of-the-littlest-hobo-canadas-greatest-tv-show-144?utm_source=vicefbca As someone mentioned last week, I'm really liking the recurring cast of improvisers that Paul is using. It's fun getting to know a performer more quickly than if they only appear on CBB or I4H every few months. -
Oh, sweet, naive Chris T... ANYWAY, super fun episode, loved the addition of Gourley to the Stillwaterverse.

I wonder if Gloria Spaghetti is related to Tony Macaroni?

EPISODE 23 — Amanda Sitko and Jennie Pierson: Best Friends Podcast

The third photo looks like a perfect posed fake laugh, but it obviously isn't. "I wasn't thinking a year ago 'cause of my coma." -
I think it's about time for Three Charted, where each week alternates between "What's Up With China?" and Shark Tank pitches. PS, the name "Paytato Chips" doesn't make sense because you also pay for normal potato chips. It should be called "Pertato Chips" since you pay per chip.

I love hearing that a guest is a CBB fan and walking the walk. I was 99.999% certain that Scott would make that "Stop Making Sense" joke, but it didn't stop me from laughing out loud at it. And it was more hopeful than certain, but similar for his one word Woody Allen impression being "Murphy". Also loved Scott cracking himself up just by reading the title "Mozart in the Jungle" in the Audible ad.

I would pay $200 to have Ken come to a party dressed as Ron Donald and sing the Closing Up the Plug Bag theme for two hours, with party guests getting to take turns doing the Casey Wilson/Bro/Tiny/Pie Minister parts.

With the Sklars' shows being arguably the most tightly-formatted on Earwolf, it's nice to hear them off the leash once in a while. Great stuff.

EPISODE 221— Listening Club
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
Yep, another great one. The "role playing" caught me off guard and was especially funny. -
EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia

I knew it, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've heard her natural accent, so for a second, I was like "What? Oh, yeah, right." -

Dream Tyme video of the seven dimensions discussion: The Futurama hyperchicken lawyer as PFT's character is perfect. -
EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Also, did anyone else wonder if there's any correlation between the seven dimensions and the seven heavens (i.e. Murderer Heaven, etc.)? -
EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia

Or the Klaus Kinski to his Werner Herzog. -
I'd imagine it's not the first time they've made this joke, but "Ozzie Smith Black Mambazo" was basically a perfect Sklar joke.

Are you fucking kidding? Going by consensus reception, this has probably been the best 2- to 3-month stretch of episodes ever.

I just read that interview...so, anyone know who was this guest on the live episode? LP: We did a very special live episode… JSC: …where we meet someone everyone has been clamoring to meet. On that topic, I assume we’re going to learn more about some of the peripheral characters we’ve met previously. But do you think you’re going to introduce new characters like Rodney or August Wilson Listler or Marissa’s mother — all of whom we’ve only heard about previously? JSC: Well, I don’t want to spoil it, but yes. One of those three people will make an appearance. And it’s really shocking when it does happen.

EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia

PEANUTBUTTER IS ONE WORD. I don't know what the fuck that "two" was in the launch countdown, but otherwise, this was amazing. *Flashback sound* "Oops...I'm gonna scam that school." *Flash forward sound* -
While this would definitely be the greatest thing ever, it seems extremely unlikely. But then I remembered that Jess and (soon) Len have both been on Veep and that JLD has praised both of them in an interview, so I'd say it's merely very unlikely.

I didn't have the slightest problem with anything Tom said or did, so I guess I'm just not trying hard enough. Loved Scott's callback to his classic "a little Buzz" joke. Mary and Erin were both great. Also, I think my favorite line of the episode was from one of the ads - "Whoopi Goldberg? She had a habit. Worked out great for her!"

Episode 1 - Jason Mantzoukas, Seth Morris: Spotlight On: Dr. Lionel Drioche
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Womp It Up!
"BOTTOM BITS?!" Great stuff. So if this takes place in August/September 2014, are we going to get weekly episodes following that timeline? Does Gutterballs take seven months to complete post-production on each episode?
