It's pretty hilarious how out of touch Letterman is. Like, I understand someone his age not listening to podcasts and even not knowing how one would do so, but it sounded like he was curious about how they're made. I mean, does he not even understand that it's just an audio recording?

Great show. Kyle's Night Guy story was very funny for a while, then very concerning.

He doesn't talk U2 to us in that clip. Hopefully someone will put it on YouTube. Scott gave the heads up on Twitter, so I DVRed the show.

I'm sure he was being willfully obtuse. He did (a slight variation on) the song on NNF a few weeks after the Best Ofs, so it's not like he immediately forgot it.

I'd dare say this was not just a Grepisode, but a CLEPISODE! The extent to which Gillian has honed the Gilly persona is super impressive, and the song absolutely killed me. Scott's (and, to a less extent, Paul's) Marvel geek-outs were amazing. Given the cast of characters and some of the subject matter, I would have bet my life savings that we'd hear a technicality no down boo over, but I guess no episode can be perfect.

NEW BANONO! If you're going to rank the top songs of a classic pop-rock artist, spend at least an hour talking about nonsense.

This was pretty great, just like almost all of the occasional deviations from the usual format.

If only Gilly had an Earwolf-adjacent project coming out this week to plug...

Maybe it's just me, but for me, there's nothing better to consume.

Whoa, this was FUCKING INCREDIBLE. So many things to love: - Having a guest/host with a great established character and just unleashing them, including a long solo opening - Wall-to-wall off-mic laughter - Incorporating the fake sponsor into the main show - Lauren doing a very different voice/character than usual and totally nailing it - Leykis and Traci interacting was amazing, baby! - That ending!!!

I'm all for anything that results in more Chart-outs for forum members! Great episode. If anyone should be on board with "I'm saucin' on you", of course it's be Mrs. Hot Saucerman.

It was weird listening to UTU2TM back to back when Scott did a few Great Bits on both. Scott should have just put "Hits" in the title of this episode so that his use of "the titular 'Hits'" would have been valid.

The half-second between when I realized that Scott might be doing the cord bit and the audience laughing at it might have been the happiest moment of my life. The subpodcasts rabbit hole was fantastic. I'm so glad that one of the Engineer Codys added theme songs in post.

Nice! Treasure it forever. The episode was a real delight and I love how into it the crowd was. My one suggestion would be to try to get guests for live episodes who are more familiar with the show and hosts. Jason always seems like a great guy and was game for everything, but there's so much chaos that it's too easy for the guest to fade into the background for long-ish stretches.

Right, I think we were reaching the same conclusion and taking slightly different paths to get there. Part of my acceptance/indifference is that there are (in most cases multiple) other Earwolf shows released on every single weekday that fill up my podcast listening time just fine.

They've been so inconsistent for so long (let's face it, there hasn't been any even semi-extended period of consistent releases since before they originally changed the schedule) that I've dropped all expectations, and I've learned to be fine with that. I don't expect the show to come out on a certain day, or even every week, but it inevitably shows up at some point and I think "Oh, that's nice."

Great episode. The call at the end was my favorite part - He says he wants to be remembered for other things, and then doesn't even say what any of those things are. Pretty perfect example of Jemaine humor.
