The AMC pass gift was pretty awesome. I hope that it leads to Ku and Wie going to at least a few movies together.

Wow! -
Someone picks the YouTube clips for the show, right? Like, there's not some implicit agreement that they'll just choose everything that gets posted, or pick them at random?
-
Let's see if anybody recognizes it on the street.

They said they would get into it on Twooch. Iliza's channeling of Howard's various stances was hilarious, and I thought she fit in with the vibe and flow of the show really well overall.

Really fun episode. The "Chad's parents" segments were a great use of the cutting back-and-forth format.

Was anyone else just waiting for Stard to ask "You know Twin Shadow, boss?"

I love Snowpiercer, but (unlike 'Fox' or most other good movies) it has that next level bonkers quality where it would be good for HDTGM in the Crank/Punisher sense.

Odenkirk b-b-b-bonus-s-s-s? I could get used to that. So many Great Bits in this episode. - "Beachfront property, baby!" - Neil's character was the perfect vessel for some quintessential Neil in the form of the old age jokes. - I LOVE that their example of a too-inappropriate place (where Whitney Houston died) is now unintentionally meta-inappropriate due to recent events.

Yes, he appeared on it semi-regularly. They've discussed it before, though I have no idea when or with which guest(s).

Episode 11 — Life's Miracles with Allen Carp
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
There are three people on most episodes - the host, the guest, and Traci. -
http://thedeadauthor...ng-horatio-sanz Grepisode with a virtual laundry list of Horatio trademarks. And a nice surprise for CBB fans near the end.

No.

Sign me up for the Begin Again fan club, too.

Two favorite lines - "You get Ed Sheeran if you're not gonna grind up against a guy." "I'm not looking for a gu sanctuary!"

Episode 172 — Big Grande
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I'd love a follow-up to the bot video since Matt was SO emphatic about it being BS. -
Episode 3 - The First Ever Very Special Secular February Christmas Episode
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Hooray Show with Horatio
FWIW, I'm a fan of the shorter shows. Basically, it's just nice to have some variety in podcasts. It's really frustrating when I have 10-20 episodes of various shows queued up on my computer, and have 30-50 minutes to kill and none of them are that short. -
Yep! Regarding the question of watching or not watching the movies (I think this was in the most recent minisode thread), I've said before that the show is a lot better when you watch the movie, but this thread really emphasizes how much better the forum discussions are. This is a six-page thread (which is great) where 80% of the comments are about specifics of the movie, and I've skimmed through or totally ignored most of them because I didn't watch the movie.

Episode 217 — Bradley Cooper's Under My bed
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
Oh, wow, that's actually the only episode of it that I've watched (probably because of PFT), and I never even made the connection when PFT did Rev P. on CBB. Fun episode, but it felt kind of rushed to have a pair of guests and a long-ish preamble on a short episode. -
Episode 3 - The First Ever Very Special Secular February Christmas Episode
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Hooray Show with Horatio
I always assumed it's just because it's (sort of) the middle syllable of his name. Great episode! -
Good stuff. David's lack of faith in the free market as a check and balance on invasive technology is kind of funny.
-
Isn't it really 5/5 since the first list of four seemingly was just speculation that was refuted by the latter list of five? That said, it might be a moot point, because I'm pretty skeptical that they can get Lawrence, Stone, AND McCarthy.

Dear CBB: based on this tweet, please have Tatiana Maslany on the show.
Kickpuncher replied to RobM's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I'm pretty sure she's tweeted about the TV show and/or the podcast before, so she's definitely a fan, and she's been on Parks & Rec, so she and Scott must at least have some mutual acquaintances. Seems more likely she'd be on the TV show, but either would be cool. -
Pure magic. I never knew about the potential Chevy Chase version of "The Day the Clown Cried". Incredible. LOVED Scott's "lazy hunchback" line and the call-back to it later.
