In other words, she's a woman in a 007 movie.

It's the illustrious Stard! 99% of Howard's insane ruminations are on the right side of the amusing/infuriating line, but his Interstellar discussions are crossing the event horizon. Great episode. Matt is an absolute champ.

My new favorite recurring joke is Tig's imitation of body rapping, the entirety of which is *gasp* *gasp* *fart noise*.

Back in the day we played LPs 8-tracks, cassettes, MP3s Now we need lossless FLACs If you're a Chartist let me hear you scream... -
I almost always get a chuckle out of stupid puns and those sorts of lines, but most of the 'quips' in this aren't remotely funny, or in some cases, it's like there's not even a joke there. Like one time, the cops that are chasing him get blocked by a train or stuck on train tracks or something, and he says something (in his "quip" tone) about them being on the wrong track. THAT'S NOT A JOKE. IT'S JUST WHAT'S HAPPENING.

If there was a "List of the Sklars' Frequently Used Phrases", "marrying the ketchups" would definitely be near the top.

Yes. It's soooo fucking boring, especially the first half. I really don't even think it's bad in a fun way, just straight up bad.

List of Scott's Frequently Repeated Phrases
Kickpuncher replied to RyanCampbell's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Yeah, this is a big one. Probably most prominent on the podcast in the Dreama Peaches episode where he kept asking her about shooting her son in his tiny butt. I think he also used it on the most recent TV episode (Rob Corddry). -
I always watch it live, and Scott and the CBB account are always active on Twitter during it, so that provides my online discussion fix.

U2 Announce iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour
Kickpuncher replied to JacobCrites's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
However much you spent, it's worth it to get to say that. -
Yeah, but he (and Rory) really messed up when they talked about how Ground Floor would hit 100 episodes when they were in their fifties, when in fact they''ll obviously reach 50 episodes when they're in their fifties. Pam's character and the list of friends was hilarious, especially since it seemed like they came in with none of that planned out and it all stemmed from an off-the-cuff mention of "getting the band back together".

I wonder if we will hear...

Yes! This sounds familiar, so if you've mentioned it on here before, that's probably where I subconsciously got the idea. -

Oh man, I just had an idea (sorry if someone has already thought of this) - Todd on some sort of teen talk show hosted by Rick Faber. -
^ Yes, all of these.
-
Nope, he died in 1995.

I'm glad you said this, because I thought it was crazy that they would mention the theme song (which is playing in the background) in the trailer. I know that Duran Duran was extremely popular, but it still seemed weird that they would think this would draw people in. But I guess not!

Episode 3 — Movers and Schaffer with Nip Schaffer

"People don't lie, and if they're lying, they're not people" on the front. "And if they're not people, they're an animal, and if they're an animal, their butt's flat with no crack" on the back. -
Episode 163 — Eric the Paid Intern Returns: LIVE at the UCBSunset
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Yeah, I just listened to his NNF episode and they (briefly) talked about doing live podcasts and the different approaches. Interesting discussion, and it's nice to know that Matt has really put some thought into it and tries to balance the live experience and the podcast. -
Episode 163 — Eric the Paid Intern Returns: LIVE at the UCBSunset
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Vote for both to stay. Anyway, let's not ignore the fact that this episode was fucking great. Great group, good integration of Eric and the crowd, awesome all around. -
When you comment on almost every episode with something that essentially amounts to "David sucks", I'd argue that it's not particularly valid or useful or interesting in any way.

You may be right... Matt Mira @MattMira I always forget Roger Moore invented Snowboarding.

I was mildly surprised that my favorite wasn't on their list - The Both by FRIENDS OF EARWOLF Aimee Mann & Ted Leo. -
This was just goddam delightful. Even though we've heard the story twice now, I wouldn't be against an entire episode devoted to an even more thorough re-telling and dissection of the beach poop incident.
