Episode 324 — Golden Duchess Cruise Lines
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I don't want to keep belaboring the issue, so I'll just say this - Regardless of how you perceive or use the word, adults use the word 'cute' to describe other adults to whom they're attracted. And even though it's the same word and in the same general ballpark (i.e. something that has an appearance which is pleasing in some way), this is absolutely different from using 'cute' to describe a kid or an animal. -

Yeah, totally the same thing. I don't think anyone has a huge problem with someone calling someone 'cute' (and I think that's already been covered here), but Dan is trying to set a precedent that it shouldn't go further (which, as Luke points out, it absolutely does at times). -
What happened to the stickers? They were in the last newsletter, and were in the store at the time, but already weren't as of yesterday (or earlier). Did they just sell out very quickly, or were they removed for some reason?

Sorry Tears for Fears, you're no longer the front-runner for Best of 2015! So much greatness top to bottom here. I've become a big fan of WH (collectively and individually) in the last year or so and it was really cool to have them on together. Scott's unprompted (and initially unexplained) use of "EGOTSGCA" is one of the funniest things he's ever said. Did anyone else go crazy when Lauren was talking about Larry Charles and Scott brought up Borat, and then Lauren even specifically used the word "wife" and no one jumped on it? -
Horatio is the guest/host, so I really hope he does it as a character.

Holy shit, this was incredible. I can't remember Elizabeth & Andy ever laughing so much/hard in an episode.

That's a good podcast! Brendon is an incredibly engaging and interesting interview subject. If anyone is wondering, Mickey Rourke won his fight via second round TKO.

That was pretty funny, and right around when I started to give up, although I was intermittently awake for the following hour or so. Other than Scott, were any guests of note on near the end? Also, does anyone know if the show will be archived? I'm hoping that will be an advantage of moving to Jash/YouTube this year. -

Wearing a very Lord ALW-ish outfit. -
Well, it was actually '79 in the UK and '80 in the US, so he was basically right.

If someone "just being [themselves]" makes their friends think that they're mad and yelling at them, then it might be a good idea to re-valuate who they are. Then again, Bill is doing pretty well just being himself, so maybe not.

Man, this was awesome. I wish they would have dug into the Amanda Knox thing a little more, but c'est la vie (that's Italiano, right?). The fake commercials are so great. Edit - Just listened through the Earwolf closing sting, which I don't normally do. Voiced by Stard and Lauren has an EP credit! -
I forgot to mention this in the Whooch thread, but Howard may have reached a new level in ad-read zaniness with the newest one, between the a capella Sleigh Ride and his sour cream aside.

It seems like the Team Coco site has a ton of clips, but maybe they only keep them up for a limited time? But yeah, seems like a no-brainer. I'd pay money for a compilation of "Basic Cable Name That Tune". Great episode, felt like a Twoochy vibe and Brian rolled with everything wonderfully.

I didn't even get it until I read this and therefore thought about it.

Episode 205 — S.M.A.S.H.
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
The intro with Zouks was incredible. Wasn't crazy about the main part (relatively speaking), but mostly because that character type feels kind of tired, not because Owen didn't do it (and Seth play off of it) very well. -
I know! I can't listen until after I get out of work, so the title and description are killing me.

Lauren Lapkus is in Jurassic World and I want to talk about it
Kickpuncher replied to Darbler Cheesegarbler's topic in General Earwolf
I don't think much info is available at this point. Lauren said she "got in trouble" for posting photos from Hawaii during shooting because of how secretive they were. -
Announced today - XANADU (I guess they dumped the sequel theme?)

Well now you have a good story in case anyone ever asks you "When did you first become aware of U2?"
