I guess I'm in the same boat as a lot of you on Cook. I kind of cringed when I saw he was on Sklarbro a few weeks ago, but he's fine. Neither that nor this was one of my favorites and I'm not going to seek out his stand-up or anything, but he's a perfectly nice, funny guy who seems to have a good perspective on everything and he played along well. And of course Rick Faber is the best. And the Hollywood Facts theme was EASILY the funniest moment of the episode. I really want to know if it was a fuck-botch or a joke by the unnamed engineer (and I'm not sure which would be funnier).

Wait, were there NO sub-podcasts in this episode? Maybe they didn't feel like Cody was capable of hitting the drops. That aside, another great one. This has become the one podcast where (rather than waiting until my ride home) I'll fire it up at work and basically just sit and listen and mostly ignore work for however long it takes. Totally worth it.

It's also the city/lake with a name that is most similar to "Have a Summah". In fact, I think the only way they can appropriately honor this momentous occasion is to officially change the name to Havasummah City, even if only for the first day of every Summah. Great episode! I've heard Lauren on a few podcasts strictly as herself, and this was definitely the funniest she's been. Further proof that Howard & Kulap are the best comedy catalysts in the biz.

Technical glitch aside, this was another winner. "Reba" did something that always kills me, when someone doing a real person as a character says some crazy stuff about themselves and then partially breaks character to say "That's real."

Thought this one was really good. I'm sure it's not pleasant for the hosts, but if doing four episodes in one day leads to focused (but still fun) discussions, then I'm all for it.

So, in theory, today's minisode should be announcing the Halloween movie, right? Because next week would be the last full episode of October.

That was the origin of that phrase, but I'm pretty sure the one in reference to Cruise was very recent, like within the last three weeks.

My only objection is that knowing there will be an episode before it's released is a form of spoilies.

I wish they would have discussed that a little more, but it seems like it might have been recorded before Scott had seen it. I would assume that's just one of several houses he has, and there would be other cars at the other houses.

It piqued my interest when they first started advertising, so I did some research. You have to really dig into their site (check out the facts, it's the nutrition facts!) to see the actual amount of food you get, and it's really low for the price. Even at 50% off (which is just your first box), I didn't think it would be worth it.
