I want to hear a conversation between Creepo and the Professor. Possibly the least topic-focused episode ever, but there were so many funny little moments that I really loved this one.

Yep. Really, that aspect along with a relatively high-profile guest and a good chunk of sports talk made it feel more like a Country than a County.

I forgot it was on until after it had started, but I recorded the later airing. Sounds like mixed opinions (here and elsewhere) as to whether it's worth watching or not. I'll probably save it until the aforementioned Go Bayside! covering it. Speaking of... Oh man, I wish I would have saved it. It was the back of the same card, and it included "stats" and "fun facts". I'm not sure what was deletion-worthy, because Jess retweeted it herself. The funniest one (especially in this context) was something like "Jess' mom has made unsolicited passes at Jason on three separate occasions."

Yes, pretty much any story about the two of them is gold. In a weird coincidence, my boss also went to college with them (not exactly sure, but I'd guess he's between the two of them in age, although it's kind of hard to say since their two ages according to Wikipedia suggest that they wouldn't have even been in college at the same time) and at least sort of knew Zouks.

Hearing that this time, it occurred to me that I'm pretty sure I saw Oldboy for the first time more recently than that episode, and luckily I had completely forgotten it.

It doesn't exactly ruin it, but for what it's worth, it's Gass, not Gas.

I enjoyed the episode, but yeah, the phone delay makes it really tough. I'm not gonna fault the guest for having fun on a comedy podcast.

I agree that it would have been better with a little more time/spotlight to flesh it out, but yeah, Wengert is aces. Jerry Seinfeld must agree about the Mellencamp theory. In an early episode of Seinfeld, someone corrected him on the pronunciation of their name, and he sarcastically said "Yeah, and I'm Jerry Cougar Mellencamp" to the side.
