Maybe it's just me, but for me, nothing could be funnier than their Time Warner commercial with Bill Cowher.

Kyle's musical act was gold. When they were asking him to do something other than say how all the noises are made with his body and he kept doing it, that felt like the seeds of a really funny sketch/character - a musician whose lyrics are ALL just describing what they're doing. Also, two weeks in a row with Tig doing voices ("Inconceivable!" last week, morning DJ this week) is a trend I can get behind. Good guest/discussion, too.

Yeah, Scott mentioned that it wasn't the new one. I guess Engineer Cody Gutterballs didn't have the up-to-date CBB soundboard. Definitely reminiscent of Scott's amazing Bill Murray impression. Someone said he sounded like Homer Simpson's weird brother, but it was actually a lot like Tracey Ullman-era Homer himself. Anyway, fucking A++ episode. Just having Jess, Len, Zouks, Lauren, and Andy in an episode together was a dream come true, and they totally lived up to the potential. Scott challenging Jason to do a poem was great, I just wish Andy would have done it too as direct payback for the last Patrick McMahon appearance.

Yeah, they usually do that, and I agree that it helps the scenes (and is usually just interesting). I'd guess that here, they had a clear enough picture based on the lyrics to just dive in most of the time.

UPDATE - At the end of Go Bayside! #76, April says that she WILL be doing an episode about this, along with two SBTB TV movies.

Talkin' 'Bout Turtle was way better as a joke on UTU2TM than as a real podcast.

Yeah, it would be perfect for her first live episode too since it's something different from the usual episodes. But I guess the finale is also 'special', so the timing for that works out well too.

Yeah, I was hoping she would do it for Go Bayside!, but this would be amazing. I know she's doing the series finale for Podfest in September, which would have been a logical time to do this 'movie'.

Well, not exactly. He was talking about Midroll, not Earwolf. I guess that's still money in the podcast world, but it seems like that million dollars could mean a lot of things.

Guys, give Mr. Butts a break, he's absolutely right - this wasn't a band, actually, it was a solo singer-songwriter. Fantastic episode.

Yeah, totally. He also fits into one of my favorite guest categories, people who know Howard well enough to (playfully) challenge him when he starts talking nonsense.

That reminds me, I loved the "P on your parade"/"J on your parade" exchange, because there's a totally innocent version of it that's befitting a Christian Podcast, and a totally gross version.

Oh, also, it was really weird/funny that this was the second day in a row with an Earwolf show where someone rubbed their hands or feet together right into the mic.

I COULD NOT STOP laughing at Tig doing "Inconceivable!" I agree that Julia was way too loud, but I thought it was a really good discussion.
