Possibly the best post in Earwolf Forum history.

Fucking incredible. Two Zouks highlights: - Laughing over making Patrick McMahon come up with a limerick on the spot - Pointing out how Andi is a minor character by saying "You weren't even in the pilots."

Episode 1420 - Todd Glass
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I just listened to this and had to pop in to mention possibly my favorite joke of the whole show, which no one there acknowledged and may not have even heard. When Jimmy was trying to guess the age of the celebrity that turned out to be Gary Cole, he asked "Is he a young guy? Is he 40, 48?" Killed me. -
Episode 84 β No Holds Barred: LIVE!
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
So I'm watching this movie right now for some stupid reason, and (at least halfway through) it's kind of insane how much more Kurt Fuller is in it than Hulk Hogan. There's a 21- or 22-minute section where Hogan only has one line, including 15 minutes where he doesn't appear at all. -
It was generous of Kulap to wonder if they might be "our age". Like, it doesn't surprise me that they're around her age, but Howard's age would be stretching probability. Jesus Kulap! Great ep, classic loose Tooch vibe.

When is Affirmation Nation coming back?
Kickpuncher replied to Memphish_Boognish's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
He plays the husband of one of the main characters (Angela Kinsey), so I'd guess he's in it a lot. -

I don't know if this means anything or not, but Seth was on @midnight last night, and Hardwick introduced him as "From the 'Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca' podcast on Earwolf..." I mean, it's not like he doesn't have more recent and prominent credits to use. -
I forget where I heard it or whom it was in reference to, but "Horatio Sans Talent" is one of my favorite disses ever. Great episode. The title should have been "Klumps it!", but at least this one makes more sense after hearing it than the version I had in my head, with "fondly" meaning "with fondness".

I think "Channel 4" is just such a generic name that it can easily lead to confusion. I almost forgot to make my obligatory positive comment about Mildred & Patty Hill being mentioned, even if PFT wasn't there to call them old spinsters or crones.

The DirecTV commercials with the marionette people
Kickpuncher replied to seanotron's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
As much as I'll defend the one with the dancing, this one is really bad. Like, this guy physically attacks a family member due to a very minor unintentional insult? What the fuck? -
Nah, I never watch any of these if it costs money, and this doesn't seem worthy of an exception.

Thanks for posting, this is really funny.

Of course it does. I can't believe he isn't already in the HDTGM All-Stars.

Really fun episode. Claudia is very funny, plus an Australian accent automatically makes anything 20% funnier. Cliche or not, Scott asking if records go the opposite way in Australia cracked me up.
-
Nope!
-
I was sure Scott would call back to that when Mike said near the end that they had started at 3:20. Favorite goofy Choctaw joke of the show - "I've heard of 'six feet under', but 'ten feet over'?!" I also loved that the first thing Scott said while listening to the album was "Uh oh." It's really funny how every song or part of a song that's pretty good and that Scott likes is immediately identifiable as being derivative of another band.

This might have been the most depressing episode ever due to the revelation that founding and running a respected comedy festival in another large city only qualifies you to be a writer's assistant on Ridiculousness in Hollywood.

WHO YET STILL?!

Good theory. I figured it was either coinciding with the release of something, or just that they couldn't record it until Monday (although I don't know why they wouldn't just release it the following week if that were the case). Big week for Perfect Strangers between this and The Leftovers. Oh, and this episode was a lot of fun.

Yeah, the uncontrolled laughter over the dog thing was so great. It's always great when someone tries to get Howard to open up a little bit and he's not comfortable enough with them to just shut it down like he does with Kulap. My only disappointment was that this dropped on July 4 and Howard never mentioned Summah or Jaws.

I think the orange HAS shirts are a must just for the gu connection. Great episode, love the inside look at the album, and Ku's reaction to Gu Cruise was everything I hoped it would be.
-
"Gu Cruise" is INCREDIBLE.

Today? Please?! howard kremer β@howardkremer 10m Tracklisting: Swimginity, Gay for Poseidon, Gu Cruise!, Government Pants, Underground Pool Network, Winteh Wench, Verruckt, Salem Summah...
