Episode 120 β Wild Horses
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
This is the fourth show I've listened to today, which I would normally never do on a weekday, but today's line-up was just too damn good. Great episode all around. Favorite line(s) - "Friendly to who?" "The eco." Favorite scene - Orgy -
Episode 002 β Hail Satan with Chip Gardner
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
I think Tip's intros for the games had to be. -
Episode 77 β Committed Weirdos

That Imagine Dragons story was so great. -

INTERNATIONAL WATERS! Bless you, Matt Gourley. Another incredible episode. Some serious uncontained public transit laughter from me on "A couple of times, we had the zipper in the mouth of a crocodile." -
Thune Hounds.

The only way that Nick's OBGYN wouldn't have had to eat a hat is if Dan Mintz's baby had been a side-by-side.

I don't agree, but that was my best guess too. Although looking it up, Phoenix is only 39. Anyway, great episode, nice complement to the Ted Leo episode of Fogelnest Files.

Nice job, Mike. I thought it was a really interesting discussion, but the phoned-in episodes just don't quite click. Like, this obviously wasn't his intention, but when David asked Kyle to be more engaged, he might as well have said "Don't let the guest talk anymore." Obviously the (non-comedian) guests are always going to defer to the hosts, and I feel like opportunities to politely nudge their way back into the conversation are virtually non-existent if they're not there in person.

Not only do I remember them, but I remember LOVING Rodman's hair being a weird color in one of the games given that this was an era of a mere handful of generic player models and hairstyles.
-
Yeah, he was definitely doing a bit. Before this was released, I heard him talking on some other show about how he had just recorded this, and Scott originally saying at the time that it might go in the can and get released much later (hence the jokes), but then saying he might end up releasing it sooner instead (which he did).

Jon's Borat is soooo bad, I freaking love it.

Episode 185 β That Ottomanβs Moving!
Kickpuncher replied to Gabe Danon's topic in Sklarbro Country
Great episode. Since Natasha didn't do it, I'll provide a plug on her behalf and say that she's guest starring on this season of Suburgatory in what seems like it could become a semi-major role. I was pleasantly surprised to see her pop up on there in what seemed like a very small one-shot appearance, and it's really cool to see her stick around and have her role grow. -
Episode 001 β The Wit and Wisdom of the West with Dalton Wilcox
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
Confidence! On a completely unrelated note, it's a weird coincidence that Dalton recorded this podcast with an engineer named Cody. -
Howard and Ramhand are giving Scott and PFT a run for their money as the best semi-regular comedy podcast duo.

Episode 001 β The Wit and Wisdom of the West with Dalton Wilcox
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
Damn! I've been meaning to buy them pretty much since they came out, it's just a question of having time to listen to them. I might as well just bite the bullet, and having them on my computer would probably entice me to make time to listen. -

I'll settle for Aukerman and Scott. -
Episode 001 β The Wit and Wisdom of the West with Dalton Wilcox
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
This was so fucking good that I almost feel sorry for anyone who plans to make a comedy podcast at any point in the rest of human history. I had a fun mental exercise thinking about how much money I would be willing to pay to hear a cryptozoology podcast with Garry Marshall and Dalton Wilcox. And for those who don't, Dalton Wilcox is going to murder you, because you're a monster. -
Dan Van Kirk kills it on Doug Loves Movies
Kickpuncher replied to WoodrowHayseed's topic in Sklarbro Country
Yeah, this was great. Certain other guests could really take a hint from this on how to be funny and not totally ruin the game while being playfully defiant of Doug's attempts to keep things on track. -
Amazing line. Unless "official" is technically something different, Chobani IS still a "proud sponsor" of the US Olympic team. I was thinking that Andy's show debuts on Friday, so now I'm extra excited. The only problem is that Thursdays on Earwolf are now WAY too crowded, particularly if there's a CBB (b-b-b-)bonus(-s-s-s) episode.

Look over the last several months of topics and it's pretty clear that that horse has long since left the barn. I'd prefer more sciencey topics, but I'm more than willing to go with the flow if the show is good.

Episode 267 β That Wasnβt It (Iβm Back) [Hee Hee]
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I have to say, the seriousness of the current Woody Allen discussion is slightly undercut by me thinking of him as loving Entourage and thinking of "Soon-Yi" being said in the Michael Jackson voice. -
Great episode. Can't wait for The Gulp Hour with Aaron Burrell. I will never not laugh at the muffled, off-mic shouting. YES! It's a not-really-secret secret which was sort of spilled (more explicitly than ever before) in this episode.
-
Yep! I'm not really familiar with Erin, but I thought she seemed familiar, so I looked at her IMDB page, and her first "Known for" is Almost Famous, at which point I immediately recognized her as the Rolling Stone fact checker. "DENIED it!" I can't believe they talked about RHCP doing the SB halftime and didn't mention "Abracadabralifornia".

Our long national nightmare is over, Aaron is in the main photo for this week's episode!
