Episode 193 β€” What Else? What Else?

It probably didn't because Kristen has the most adorable voice in the world.

    Episode 87 β€” Sexual Attraction Pt 2

Great episode! That was pretty amazing. Not so much the money thing as the publicly ripping a famous person you hung out with thing. It sounded like Maher totally deserved it, but that's a line that people in the public eye don't usually cross, so I was impressed that Kyle would be that frank. Maybe I'm not remembering this correctly, but wasn't that at least very loosely the plot of the e-book that sponsored the show a while back?

Episode 194 β€” Me Gusta Characters!

"In el womb." Such a great episode. Chelsea was in classic Silly Billy mode and Kroll's characters were great as always. I was especially happy to get a Goat appearance mere weeks after my Paper People nativity scene included an Easter egg in the form of a Kroll-faced goat. My only complaint is that the episode title should have been "What to Expect When You're Expectorating".

    Episode 129 β€” Playing Dirty

Sarah, Bruce, and Brandon - What more could a citizen of Sklarbro Country ask for?
  6. Another highlight I forgot to mention - The "Call Me Maybe" ringtone. The fact that it was a total throw-away moment that wasn't at all essential to the scene made it even funnier to me that whoever did it (don't remember who) would come up with that.

    Show us your Earwolf swag!!

Not sure where else to post this since the Paper People Contest thread is locked, but thanks to Julia & co. for my prize pack, which arrived today. It included a card, a calendar (much smaller than the standard hanging poster size I was expecting, which I like), and a donation thank you certificate. Anyone want to help me identify some signatures? 1 - ? (Best guess - Adam Pally) 2 - Jensen Karp 3 - ? 4 - Howard 5 - Jon Dore (maybe Daly?) 6 - Michael Cassady 7 - Paul Rust 8 - Scott ("What's Up Hot Dog?" lives on!) 9 - ? 10 - Matt Walsh (?) 11 - Harris Wittels 12 - Kulap (?) (If 5 is Dore, maybe 3 & 9 are Randy & Jason Sklar?) Pretty awesome group overall!
  8. Great episode, loved the proposal scene (the Roseanne names gimmick made me laugh way more than it should have) and the various pre-scene conversations. Also, congrats to Lauren on the engagement. (I'm pretty sure Lauren has posted on here before, right?)

Episode 193 β€” What Else? What Else?

Maybe one of these bonus episodes should feature Rusty and Nancy and be called "I Love You, Nancy Cooper".

    Episode 192 β€” GoodFelines

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but hopefully things will go back to normal more quickly than expected due to the release of a bonus episode. Incidentally, I think we need an official ruling from the Choctaw as to whether the Plugs theme creator is still famous for a full week even in the event that the next episode is released sooner than that.
  11. I sort of assumed "stand-in" was the word they were looking for, but if that's the case, I can't believe neither came up with it.
  12. On one hand, I really laughed at the idea of a lip-synching clip being played on a podcast, but on the other hand, it convinced me to watch the video, which I virtually never do, and HOLY CRAP THIS IS AMAZING. (Also, the guy's make-up makes him look like Bruce Campbell in the Evil Dead movies.)
  13. Only 2 comments? Hopefully people are just getting to this episode slowly because of Garlin's show and the bonus CBB. One of the best episodes yet. Jen was great as always and the clips were amazing. Highlights: - The titular line, the musical version of which is totally stuck in my head now - Jen's story about her dad killing at M-Bar - The entire "Puttin' on the Hits" discussion. DO IT, JEN!
  14. Great show. Larry is one of my absolute favorites, and this format is pretty much perfect for him. Can't wait for more episodes.

Episode 193 β€” What Else? What Else?

B-B-B-BONUS(s-s-s) EPISODE?! Four shows released today which I can't wait to listen to. This day can't go by fast enough.

Episode 110 β€” Single Guy Vibe

This was every bit as good as I expected when I saw Adam would be this week's guest. He's the best. Also, SUMMAH BIGFOOT!

    Episode 86 β€” Conspiracies

Good episode. Aaron has really come out of his shell in these NY episodes. The flat Earth clip was hilarious. Under that guy's 'gravity' explanation, Earth would be 'rising' at the speed of light in a little under a year.

    Episode 53 β€” Anaconda

That was LITERALLY my favorite part of the show. Jason says the first sentence, I say "Bamf" out loud to myself, Jason says it, the crowd cheers, and he shouts "You fuckin' nerds!"
  19. Kickpuncher

    Episode 192 β€” GoodFelines

Yep. He's so good at going to levels of complete ridiculousness. I'm glad I didn't even have to wait one full week of 2013 to hear Wipeout or "My wife".

    Episode 128 β€” Sklarbro Mixtape 2012

A fitting follow-up to the "Hamburger" clip from the Andy Kindler episode of Jake's show.
  21. It was funny that one segment included "Special Man" telling Ben that no one else's voice sounds like his, when the entire episode I had a feeling that he sounded very much like someone else, and I just couldn't put my finger on it, then eventually realized it's Ken Jeong.

Episode 109 β€” Herbie Does Not Smile

Ooh, good point. Good episode, and I'm glad it allowed Ku and Wie (and Stard) a light week. The new intro was a nice touch, mostly because it means we'll presumably still be getting a new Tooch!

    Jeff Q&A

    Wow, that's really impressive!

    Episode 108.5 β€” 12/28/12 TWO CHARTED 47

Is Merc in retch? Great finish to a great year. Long live Hooch and Tooch.

84- Live in New York (w Ira Glass)

I thought this was the funniest thing Aaron has ever said on the show, and in general, he was pretty great in this episode. I was listening to this while driving on the highway, so I couldn't listen to that TAL clip for fear that some sort of visceral reaction would be legitimately dangerous. The non-chronological order made me enjoy Kyle's Don Pardo intro even more, because I had been wondering for the entire podcast part of the episode why he never made that obvious reference. David doing like one minute of stand-up was really weird, but I'm guessing it was for time purposes. Overall the stand-up mini-sets were a nice bonus.
