Episode 327 - Scrolling Through Your Corolla

Not naming the episode "The Doors of Eros" was a Cody-level flubbish. That aside, great ep.

Episode 474 - Liquid Meal Spheres

I would say this episode was like a retired train, but thanks to Scott's intro, it was never on the rails in the first place. If they were ever going to revive the Analyze Phish format, it should be Scott and Paul showing cult comedies to Gilly.

    Episode 345 - Baby Hustle

Kurt's special is really good. Trust ME.

    Episode 2004 - The Gang

If you wanted to see "the new Denzel movie", I'd say you're about six weeks late for Fences to be that.
  5. I rate this episode five out of five potential grizzlies.

    Episode 473 - Tight Tort

As long as they had the phone out, I'm surprised they didn't place a call to China.
  7. Damn it! That's what I get for not paying close enough attention. Even without the bonus narrative, a great moment.
  8. Sketchfest co-founder Little Janet Varney closing the show out with one of the biggest laugh/applause lines ever was a genuinely heart-warming moment.
  9. That guy on the Oscars pre-show saying "Hidden Fences" was 100% the pink elephant/white bear thing.
  10. The "Now all I can think about is mini-bikes" turn/call-back was so perfect.
  11. It was an unseasonably warm day, so Rich wanted to put some miles on the Vespa.

    Episode 472 - Pleats, Please!

I love how it's become a running joke on his appearances that they never get to the supposed reason he's there. This one was great throughout, but that last segment was especially bonkers.

    Why once a week?

Because that has always been the normal schedule, I guess.
  14. This had everything I could have wished for in a 100th episode, with the return of Mitch & Delores ranking pretty high on that list.

Episode 471 - Shy By Nature, Outgoing By Nurture

Great ep. Scott and J-Man are always gold. Great charac segment. I love when the conversation gets weirdly fixated on one inconsequential thing, in this case the mystery of where the Tricias are from.
  16. My impression was that they were joking about that, not knowing when or if it would be released.
  17. Wow, what a treat! I'm glad Paul waited to release this one, because it would have been a shame if the peak of the entire series ("...And a Third Thing: The Andy Kindler Game") had occurred at the very start.

Episode 324 - Ironic Love Songs

Well said. I totally get that doing BDP is a great opportunity, and it's probably unrealistic to think she would get offered that and say, "Not now, I have crowd-funders to satisfy", but I do think it's a legitimate worry that it becomes a constant rolling situation where BDP does well and leads to two more seasons of BDP, and potentially more things, and they all take precedent over OS. But again, it sounds like that isn't necessarily happening, in which case it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

Episode 470 - Electric Guest Are Masculine

Pretty sure it was last year's Maslany/Bruun ep.

Episode 324 - Ironic Love Songs

I think he did, two weeks ago. As someone who's expressed disappointment about the Origin Story situation, here's my two cents - Obviously that guy was being a dick and was not choosing the right way or place to address the situation. And I totally get why the guys would stand up for Ku. That said, I don't really agree with a lot of what they said. My biggest issues were always 1) the lack of updates, and 2) the extent to which BDP has seemingly been prioritized over OS. OS Contributors used to get regular e-mail updates, and Ku would talk about it frequently on WC. Now, it's been NOTHING for months. (And I don't buy that constant discussions of BDP's production schedule count as a de facto status update on OS.) I never thought that the money from OS was going toward BDP, and I guess I would have been surprised if it literally never ended up getting finished, but I'm very surprised (pleasantly, obviously) by the progress that seems to be happening (that said, I just looked it up and Sundance happened like a month ago, so I guess she's shooting for next year's, which would be 11 months from now?). Honestly, a 30-second update to that effect once a month would have been plenty, just to give the sense that it was at least on the back burner as opposed to off the stove entirely. I also don't really agree that contributors (and I do think "contributors" is a more appropriate term than "donor") shouldn't feel entitled to some extent. I've never been big on crowd funding, but this experience has made me skeptical enough about the whole process that I'll probably never do it again. Bottom line, I'm disappointed by how slow the process was and the lack of info along the way, but ultimately fine with it all if the progress discussed here actually comes to fruition.

Episode 470 - Electric Guest Are Masculine

I don't deny that she's been among the best, but someone has to build up a track record before I'm willing to count them among the Dalys and PFTs of the world.
  22. Jim Leyritz! This was one of my favorite episodes ever.

Episode 470 - Electric Guest Are Masculine

This was very good! Mary has definitely climbed into the upper echelon of CBB guests.
