EPISODE 214 — Wild Horses vs. Big Grande: LIVE at UCBsunset
FUCK! replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I'm unfamiliar. Google says it's Hollywood Handbook and they ask the forum posters questions? I never really listen to those guys. Not that I don't like them it's just hard to work and pay enough attention to them. I tend to miss a lot. Oh and I'm not that into pop culture? -

One the best eps! If I4H was a tv show, I would hope Dan Deacon would be its Reggie. -
Phish has a song about what he was talking about - the waking up and not being able to recall something you were dreaming about. I would love to hear what Wie has to say about that.

Ya'll get offended too easily. People are going to express their opinions about the show on this message board. Get over it.

I wear math.

Not sure I love this guest. Especially that creepy sales voice he went into when he was hardcore bragging on his success.

You're gonna be on outside looking in. You're gonna be on outside looking in. You're gonna be on outside looking in.

OH! That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for clearing that up. He mentions Mickey Mantle who would have been about 10 years retired by that point.

Just started watching and I had to pause to say that the gas station attendants know NOTHING about baseball. When they're talking about the home runs one guy says something like "he must have hit one 250 feet!" I think the shortest fence in MLB is like 310 ft. That would have easily been a pop out. Not something to brag about for your favorite athlete. I'm guessing the corrections and omissions will be a different thread but I just had to say something.

At the top of the show when Ku said they were counting down his top 5 songs on Spotify I immediately assumed we were going to listen to the songs Nick has most listened to on spotify. While I think this chart was awesome too, wouldn't it be really sweet to hear non-musicians count down the songs they most listen to on Spotify? The guests would be excited about the chart and have a lot to talk about. EDIT: It looks like Spotify disabled the feature to show most listened to songs but they might bring it back. https://community.sp...s/idi-p/1046692 Are there other apps that allow you to see your most listened to songs?

Great ep. But I gotta say. I totally disagree and side with Howard in his absence about movies. Movies owe you whatever it costs to rent the movie, the time it took to decide which movie you wanted to watch, aaand the runtime of the movie. To me that's a lot. That's half a night plus a couple bucks. When you waste all that time on some trash movie that was only put together to make money, I think you should be able to shit right back on them.

Who Blarted?

So. Who was the monologist? Edit: Matthew Gray Gubler? This is from Lauren Lapkus on Never Not Funny http://www.earwolf.com/episode/lauren-lapkus/ around 1 hour

Here's how you argue against Howard's anti-spongebob rant today. In your best Howard impression: I won't listen to your songs because they're make-em-ups. I mean who needs a make-em-up of an orangutan driving you around on a jetski? Orangutans are LAAAAND animals. Who needs some make-em-up of two seagulls in love or whatever. I mean JESUS, Howard! Just appreciate the real ocean! negative ions edit: Also, love this show - this is just for fun. Nobody lose it over this post.

About 15 minutes in and as a Phish fan this is getting a little hard to listen to. It's like two people standing in front of Seurat's Sunday Afternoon and saying "HOW COULD ANYONE ENJOY THIS?!" Still love these guys but it's only fun for a little while to listen to someone repetitively shit on something you love especially without a good explanation.

Man this episode was sooooo bad acting

Thanks for the heads up! Could someone provide a timeframe please?

I dream of a world where space and oceans can coexist peacefully.

Listening now and I can't believe anyone with music background could enjoy this kind of country pop. I can't wait for Kulap's chart! Edit: and I LOVE classic country and bluegrass and new grass. This is just the worst genre. Yuck

Wow... can't believe that huge spoiler. Really pissed about it. At the very least edit it and warn us.
