I would suggest The whole thing is on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C5WwammH90 I'll warn you now, it isn't about Santa taking down the martians Rambo style. That would be the best film ever.

Did anyone get way too excited at the announcement that polls are open to pick the top ten episodes of the year. That fact that I had an excuse to make a list made me happy, what is wrong with me?

Also positively stereotyping takes away from a person's own achievement. So saying something like "Asians are good at Math" implies they're only good because of their race, rather than their own individual abilities and hard work.

So for anyone here that's not heard Todd Glass' podcast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptbn9YTugrI

Episode 52 β Itβs Your Choice To Suck A Dick
Syme replied to admin's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
The story of Lot and his daughters is always one of the biggest WTF moments in the Bible to me. These two girls live in a cave with their Dad. Since there's no men around they both say, well let's get our dad drunk and "lie with him so that we may preserve our family line through our father." It also says "he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up" It doesn't really make it clear whether this is supposed to be right or wrong, it's just presented as something that happened. So all you can come away with it thinking is it's okay for women to rape their Dad's if there's no other men around to get them pregnant. This is in Genesis chapter 19 just after some of the stuff about Sodom and Gomorrah. -
Twenty or so people in Suicide House is enough. I think if you threw Andy Daly into the mix and it would reach a tipping point where it got too crazy even by CBB standards.

Okay, I have to ask. Why would you call yourself ScottAukerman when you aren't actually Scott Aukerman? For the fame?
-
Well that was fun although I'm not sure what the hell was happening for the last 30 minutes of that.

Scott seems to have a great memory for callbacks, he also instantly remembered the title of a previous episode Casey Wilson was on. And there was some other line in the show that I can't even remember now, but it seemed to be a callback to something else.

Well it'd be crazy if the two worlds evolved to look exactly the same! It only makes sense for the world to be very similar but with a few with slight differences.

I do wonder if this was originally some rejected screenplay that the writers had lying around, and when they got asked to do the Mario movie, they just dug it out, renamed some of the characters, made it about these struggling plumbers, and thought "yeah that'll do." I do love how Dennis Hopper still commits so hard in this movie, I loved Mantzoukas pointing out that Koopa is essentially Frank Booth.

I was surprised there was a discussion of buttholes that wasn't instigated by her.

The names pop up if you hover the mouse cursor over the guest.

Was anyone else disappointed when Scott said "My Wife" in this episode without then repeating it in Borat's voice?

Enjoyed this, so I vote in favour of studio episodes. Looking in more depth at internet culture could definitely be an interesting theme to continue in to some of the studio episodes, and it would allow you to bring in different kinds of guests than the comedians you'll have at the stage show. -
There's really not enough political satire in comedy podcasts, so I'm glad Scott has been pushing in that direction. It's an important time to do so, I think.

Would it be easier just to put all these in one thread? Four have dropped already My favorite so far has been the Bjork episode.

I didn't find anything especially strange about this episode, just seemed fairly routine to me. Nice twist on the usual Andrew Lloyd Webber appearance. I do like they just bailed on making the story go full-circle at the end. Oh and uh we can give people 'lifts' without it meaning elevator in England. We do also use the word elevator as well. Also elevator surely comes from the word elevate which means to "lift or raise something to a higher position" So surely calling them elevators has the same problem as calling them lifts.

Does this mean weekly as in, there's going to be one or two more episodes and then a gap for 3 months? I'm not complaining, it just sounds like a huge task to be able to produce this much material every week.

Yeah thank God we have Carolla to say what nobody else had dared to say. Oh wait it's a hack opinion, that people don't think or say any more because most people have progressed. I really hate when people with prejudiced, bigoted views make the assumption that others shares their shitty views. Don't include me in your sexism. Not listened to this episode yet, so I can't comment on how Adam comes across in it.

Jake Fogelnest really added a lot to this since he was able to bring in some interesting facts about the production and other stuff surrounding the movie.
