Yeah "critiquing" things can be interesting so let's look again at what you had to say. Fascinating analysis, I'm sure it's going to be very useful. I hope Scott keeps in mind your thoughts, and never does anything to do with 'thrilling adventure hour' on the show ever again to satisfy you (I mean come on, 2 times in 5 years is way too much anyway.)

Episode 10 β All That You Canβt Leave Behind
Syme replied to JulyDiaz's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
Did the Scott's realize they'd already made the cliffhanger joke in farts and procreation? -
Episode 5 β Achtung Baby?
Syme replied to JulyDiaz's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
I think something was wrong my file, I couldn't hear the huey lewis section of the podcast this week. -
Episode 2 β The Unforgettable Fire
Syme replied to JulyDiaz's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
I couldn't stop picturing a U2 fan listening and thinking "What the fuck is going on?" during that bit. Well through most of it really. -
It's as if they're making this stuff up as they go along.

Episode 004 β The Travel Bug with August Lindt
Syme replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
That was utter lunacy, my favorite so far. -
How long before someone makes that mashup?

Wow, some people really can't let this go.

One of the bigger problems is that this comedy panel show format is so prevalent in the UK. They're bland and cheap to make and they aren't even a good format for a lot of comedians, male and female. There's plenty of funny women here, but they don't necessarily shine when trying to come up with jokes on a topical quiz show.

Earwolf needs to spread out their best podcasts a bit more, CBB, I4H and Andy Daly Pilot Project on the same day? I can't decide which one to listen to first.

It's like Lauren is cursed to always mention that thing on this show.

Episode 116 β LIVE from RIOT LA 2014
Syme replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Always love to hear Andy Daly using his classic "What's that?" improv technique. His boyband manager character was amazing, I want to hear more of him. -
I'm all for Harmontown crossing over to various Earwolf podcasts, it became one of my unmissable podcasts last year. Hopefully Jeff Davis will follow up on that promise to do Analyze Phish.

I'm on board with Comedy Bing Bong Theory/Bean Bag Theory but not so much Comedy Big Bang Theory/Big Bang Theory Comedy.

I'm sad it wasn't brought up that Jenny Slate's dog is called Reggie Watts.

Misinformed Scott's two favorite shows - House of Pies and Downtown Abbey.

I think the purpose of that Eric Jonrosh and Spoils of Babylon copy is to create utter confusion in people who haven't heard of it so they look it up for clarification. Anyway I'm glad they brought Coco Marx back, my favorite thing Sanz has done on the show.

"That's crazy that means some of my favorite episodes didn't even make the top 20!" Repeat Ad Infinitum

Maybe it's just me but for me, the Wompler episodes didn't reach the same heights this year. That's not to say that they weren't very funny but I thought they peaked at finger guns.

Neither Pool Party or ep 200 made my list, so I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Episode 113 β Non-Descript Hole
Syme replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Oh my god scene of the year for mouth, nondescript and anus hole. -

I don't know if this'll affect anything but nonetheless if you've been voting on the poll, you'll no doubt be CRYING over the episodes you can't include in your top 10 (Unless you just voted twice or something.) So here's a thread to mention some moments you either couldn't vote for or think are unlikely to make the final cut. 229 - Two Thumbs & Not Much Else (Ben Schwartz, Paul F. Tompkins) Werner Herzog, Scott and Ben Schwarz improvised commercial for "Where's the Beef?" Live from Toronto (Sean Cullen, Paul F. Tompkins) "Roleplay Scenario" with Sean Cullen as "Hollywood Producer" Alan Thicke as "Himself" and Scott Aukerman as "Karen" -
Judging by the photos this seems to have been made up of 3 different recordings. Fair enough for a 2 and a half hour episode.
