  1. ? Apparently my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough.
  2. We should probably also talk about how attractive we think Jen and Pamela are, rather than their comedy.
  3. Were you sitting at your desk at the time? Or perhaps you were mailing a desk to someone who needed a desk.
  4. Hasn't she denied she was expressing her views and claimed she was trying to highlight the prejudice of others? Seems like obvious bullshit, but I love the idea that she's completely unable to express what she means coherently.
  5. It's a bit of both I think, other countries have worst examples of religious oppression than America and most western European countries, but Christianity and Islam encourage evangelizing in their texts more than the any of the other major religions.
  6. I laughed so much at Matt "integrating" audible.com in the middle of a sketch.
  7. Well that must have been a lot of work, having to add profiles for all the guests on this show that had never been on any other earwolf show.
  8. That's because he's still in character. It is difficult to tell where the line between his persona and real self is at times, but the thing I've enjoyed about seeing him on the livestreams is that there are moments when he genuinely laughs.
  9. There's a livestream from SXSW tomorrow 1pm EST/10am PST at http://YouTube.com/Earwolf

Episode 204 — The Pepper Men

Seems to have been recorded the same day as friends without words, http://www.earwolf.c...-without-words/ It explains this picture
  11. Jake mentioned Jon's ability to eat a Sandwich, which reminded me of this footage of the greatest insult comic there ever was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ULKbLsZowg
  12. I never even made that connection, it just made me wonder if the great undiscovered project is also part of the CBB canon.
  13. I hope Matt Invites him on to the show, sounds like he's got some great improv skills.
  14. I was actually thinking was there any point in Paul being ALW in this episode? There were some funny moments that came out of it, but usually when he's doing one of his characters there's some kind of premise for why that particular character is there, but there wasn't really anything for this episode. At times it felt to me like it was an obstacle to them having a normal conversation. It does seem Paul is only ever himself on the best off's now, and I kind of miss him just being himself on the show now and then. Anyway it was exciting to hear him promoting his London shows, even though I bought the tickets seconds after he announced it on twitter.
  15. But it didn't need calling out, it's not the early 90's.

    Episode 6 — Analyze Fish Pt. 2

Piranha 3d is a fish movie right? Paul Scheer could be involved. Let's not forget there was a sequel - Analyse That, if you need more reason to come up with awkward puns.
  17. I enjoyed watching the episode, although I did think there was something a bit distracting about being able to see the improvisers when they're not in the scene yet. And not being able to make edits afterwards does mean scenes tend to end a bit awkwardly. I don't know if it would work, but I'd be interested to see what an episode would be like if you moved the tables and chairs out of the studio and had everyone standing, and had a bit of physical acting in the scenes. Making it more like a stage show might work better for a video broadcast.
  18. If Amy Phillips can do impressions of any other comedians, than I'd like to hear her appear on what would potentially be the most confusing episode ever with James Adomian.
  19. I think that point was more about people who say things can't be a topic for comedy, but they could be a topic for other art forms. Which is something that bothers me a lot. For instance, a dramatic reconstruction of a school shooting could be far more offensive than a comedy sketch, because the dramatic reconstruction is exploiting and manipulating peoples emotions for the purposes of entertainment whilst pretending to be sensitive and informative. Obviously it would depend on what the comedy sketch involves, but just because you can laugh about a topic, doesn't mean you can't have compassion for the people who've been affected by it.
  20. Saying "fuck you" probably isn't the best way to engage in a reasonable debate. I know that's one small thing in a much larger post, but it makes your whole tone seem needlessly aggressive.
  21. Just once I wish someone on case closed would be as abrasive as they were in the forum post/tweet. Everyone seems to try to play down what they actually said.
  22. I like to believe Jon Daly was wearing that sweater anyway and didn't know the episode was being filmed.
  23. He didn't say Jon Daly, he said Bill Cosby Bukowski
  24. Also they're going to be rotating through different Earwolf shows, so that could work really well for Who Charted or The Fogelnest Files where they play a lot of clips.
