Episode 14 — Brian Huskey, Our Close Friend
MattCameron replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I say go and use all of the knowledge that Sean and Hayes have given you and tell everyone you're a Hollywood big shot. This would probably entail demanding a rare type of liquor that the bartender doesn't have and some type of narcotic. Then, once you get good and drunk on the "commoners' drink" (make sure to call it that), tell everyone you are going back to LA on your private jet and go pass out in the bushes. -
Episode 115 — Daniel the Miracle Beagle
MattCameron replied to Gabe Danon's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
What an episode. Loved hearing Sean and Dominic on with the always mesmerizing Joe Wengert. That Doug is such a kook. I can feel my blood pressure skyrocket when I listen to him babble on and on to the point that I just want to shout sometimes, but the scenes that come out of his appearances are incredible. -
Episode 1325 — Scott Aukerman

Nice pickup, Earwolf. This isn't showing up on NNF on the podcast iphone app though... Edit: found on Earwolf Presents. Can't wait to check it out. I guess this is the big announcement Jimmy was talking about on DLM. -

I just listened to Andy's Popcorn Gallery theme. That was outstanding! Very well done, sir. -

Max, your first television acting job was on the MTV series "Undressed." Have you ever used that fact in a pick up line, and if so, what was it? -

I feel that if Rob Howard and Tim Hanks taught us anything, it's that Catholocism can be suuuuuuper badass and not make any sense historically. I mean, have you seen DaVinci Comb? Angel and Devils? I don't want to be "the coolest guy in the forum," but I'm pretty sure I was the only one here that was actually present during Jim Cavizzel's audition (I was the script supervisor for the Aramaic). He came on a little strong but made Jesus his Hollywood coup de grace. -
Episode 14 — Brian Huskey, Our Close Friend

It may have been in one of the scenes that wasn't discussed, but I feel like a scene where our hero, Pope Attitude, is walking across St. Peter's Square with a big pile of religious texts in his arms and gets bullied by a bunch of rough and tumble Cardinals who knock all of his papers to the ground would fit in well. Maybe even have the Cardinals in the tennis tournament??? This scene would pair well with more Green Day or Smash Mouth as Chanson mentioned. -

Don't even get me started on webcams. -
So I made a network graph of every guest who appeared on CBB

That shit is cray. I hope you had some sort of program that did that and it wasn't done manually. -

If I had one note, I think the coach/southern judge character could have a little more of a Foghorn Leghorn type delivery. I thought the cancer throughline muddles the true meaning of the film: that we, as a society, are ALL the Pope. -
Episode 13 — Andy Daly, Our Close Friend

It looks pretty likely that Chanson's city's team and my city's team will be playing in the NFC Championship game. We should all get together and go watch it over at Les Moonves's house. -
"Ryan Gosling? Fantastic!" -Scott

I had just started listening to the ep when I wrote that post. I feel like Hayes and Sean would be super disappointed with me for not having all the facts before talking.
-
I think it was a hoax. Apparently a similar thing happened on WTF where he said that Eric Jonrosh was coming on and then had to cancel. I think it's probably just the copy for Spoils of Babylon show that Scott had to read unless it's a Thursday ep. Either way, love to see Schwaz and Raj kicking things off right.
-
I was coming on here to say the exact same thing. I will say, though, that he's lucky he sneezed on this show rather than on Hollywood Handbook. Hayes and Sean would have been much less forgiving.

Episode 13 — Andy Daly, Our Close Friend

Definitely Brick. Perfect way to segue into the discussion about who voiced Osmosis Jones. Didn't know Sean was such a Foldshead (Benhead? Fivehead? BFFer? Folder? Folding Fiver? Benzofoldingfiverfan?). At any rate, Sweden sounds awesome. What do you guys do for fun over there other than sauna? Where are the best spots for Hollywood royalty and aspiring voiceover actors to commingle? -
PFT dominating the top 15. Great eps. Still surprised Bleep Bleep didn't make it (see first reply above; I am the first to bite I guess) but these were all amazing and overall an unsurprising list of comedy gold. Well done, Scott and company. Well done indeed.

These are my other faves everyone: CBB! i4h WC/TC DLM STHUJKLG MWRPaAN BTRRRRRRRRRRR IGUANA ND&DHJ JK-KL Also started listening to Bone Zone recently. Big fan of that one. Sorry, Earwolf. -
Couldn't agree more. I loved that episode. The Fortunately/Unfortunately should at least be a b-b-b-b-bonus-s-s-s-s clip (bro).

Episode 12 — Ben Schwartz, Our Close Friend
MattCameron replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I've been in a few, but most notably I was in the post-punk pre-modern prog acoustic duo Mr. Balloonhands. We once played on my couch with skinny John Popper. -
I was thinking the same thing about Horatio's absence. He always brings gold, especially in Half a Score. I am surprised that you didn't love Comedy Bleep Bleep as I thought it was hilarious; the production was amazing and the relistenability was way up there, but you're probably right about the top 3. Lapkus and Horatio are pretty unappreciated compared to a lot of the CBB faves. For Horatio I feel like maybe it's that his characters are always the "one and done" types. All in all though, no major complaints so far. This was a banner year for Bing Bong and I'm just happy I got to be here for it.

I am pretty surprised about all of this. For those to be the top 3 means that Comedy Bleep Bleep wasn't even in the top 20 which blows my mind entirely. I guess we'll see on Thursday.

Episode 113 — Non-Descript Hole
MattCameron replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Wanted to echo all of the praise for that titular scene. Amazing. Also, thanks for all of the laughs this year, Matt. Some really fantastic stuff. I'm glad I get the chance to listen to the Best Podcast in the Universe. -
Episode 12 — Ben Schwartz, Our Close Friend
MattCameron replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I believe 50 Cents (Curt) owes Sean and Hayes a favor for introducing him to Dr. Andre (Dre, of Beatz), so maybe they can get this to the right people for recording? Well done, huglife. -
Yeah. I was also shocked by that. As much as I absolutely love FnP 1, I feel like that because of the behemoth of comedy that it was pretty much guarantees that any FnP sequel will be in the first or second spot. Not to target the Farts and Pro crew, but I think there were a lot of eps this year that got snubbed that were better than FnP 3, and I believe this to be a flub.
