Only tenuously related to the TV series, this undeniably awful movie combines an incredibly shallow plot with halfhearted family drama, featuring Jim Belushi as a sad policeman. The movie includes: inexplicable cartoon sound effects for a single fight scene, seemingly never-ending butt/fart jokes, Peter Dinklage and Patrick Warburton not phoning it in, the worst parts of any superhero origin story, the worst parts of any talking animal movie, and a talking, super-powerful dog with self-esteem issues. I hate this picture, and I think that you will too.
Also, it got a 16% on Rotten Tomatoes. Just putting that out there.
Oh, and I completely forgot about the piece de resistance: the Jay Leno cameo!
