I don't know why everyone's hating on Doug. Yeah, he's into that new-age mumbo jumbo but his advice was spot on. Oh, and "shipping" comes from "relationship", so I don't think you can "ship" a band and a show but who knows. It's a crazy world. Amazing episode all around.

I remember when "Victor and Tiny" made their first appearance on CBB I wasn't totally on board but now I think "they're" great.

I, for one, hope Rob always fills in for Jason when he can't be there.

A couple reactions I had to their discussion of the album: 1) "Danger Mouse did a great job producing it" I disagree. I think the production is thin, stale, and amateurish, with the vocals way too far out in front. The "dirty" guitar in The Miracles does not blend in at all with the other instruments. That song in particular sounds like garbage. The album has ZERO energy. I was shocked that they said the opposite. 2) "Bono's singing sounds great" Except it's CLEARLY been pitch-corrected during the high notes of "Raised by Wolves". Like, it's REALLY obvious and it sounds bad. 3) "The album cover doesn't look like anything else out there" Yeah, except for Yeezus and the third System of a Down album. It's a decent album, though. I agree that Bono's melody game is tight on this one. Great ep, though. C+. I'm excited that they're going to keep making at least a few more episodes!

A couple of things bothered me: 1) What'serface claims that the gang only used "literally" correctly once, but TWICE during the episode we hear two other (and, dare I say, better) uses of the word: "she literally puts make-up on her face" (from Burlesque) and "you will get literally no argument from me" ("...for proposing this movie be re-shot with 8 year olds") 2) They have a category for craziest accents and don't nominate the fucking bonkers accents from After Earth??? WHAT IS HAPPENING Sorry for being a buzzkill! But don't blame me, blame the 405 south.
