Whenever I see Mookie involved, all I can think of is, "Heee heeeeeee!" -

Sad to hear about Greg Behrendt... from his Facebook page it sounds like he is keeping positive, staying active, and the prognosis is good. Hoping for the best. -
Episode 1617 - Cristela Alonzo

16 Qualify. A couple other notes: I LOVED Cristela and the vibe of this episode, and I also purchased Seven in Seven because of this podcast. -
EPISODE 10 - The Student Lounge at A Performing Arts High School
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Ugh I can't figure out how to post the actual picture (any help peeps? I have it saved on my computer too) but my buddy made this picture and got it retweeted by Spontaneanation. He was pretty stoked! https://twitter.com/agitprop/status/606645098462314496 -
EPISODE 189.5 — Ask the UCB: Openings & Music Guests
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Their guitarist/singer called into the Player's Club episode of NNF this Monday! Jimmy was tweeting for callers during the show and he called in out of the blue. I can't exactly remember, but I'm guessing Jimmy eventually hung up on him (NNF listeners will understand). It took me a couple minutes to remember where I had heard the name because they like NNF and had sent Jimmy an album, but then I remembered it was on I4H that I gained a healthy respect for their actual music. -
Episode 1616 - Kumail Nanjiani

Downloaded but not watched/listened to. I'm guessing 16 Popsicle. 16 Popsicle. -

This is his second appearance. His first one was great! Just got to the interview portion of this one so I haven't seen all of it. Got stuck on the awesome I4H episode this week! -
Episode 1615 - Lauren Lapkus

Oh Origami Mami! You blew it!! At least next week I know I don't have to consider guessing "Poika." -

16 Oreo. Still not released... wonder if the holiday weekend makes a difference. -
As one who has listened a few times to HH and chuckled here and there but was never enthusiastic enough to become a consistent listener, I found this episode great, and laughed harder during the table read than I have in a few weeks. I think there is a definite link between the absurdist humor of Scotty Auks and Sean and Hayes'. I don't have a lot of space in my podcast schedule, but if I get some, the first place I'm going to is HH's other table reads for starters. And, also, I honestly appreciate the fun the regular HH listeners have with their show. I know what it feels like to be passionate about a podcast I love.

Episode 1614 - Janet Varney

I live in Rockford so Erin's team name was of special interest to me! -

I'm only 10 minutes in and they haven't done it yet and I've gotten no clues, so I'll play along: My 'N' word will be Nugent. Edit: I didn't even notice, but the guest is Erin Foley! Last season, she was one of my top 3 out of all 52 episodes, and I had never heard of her. I bet I listened to that episode three times. Anyone who's kinda new to NNF who hasn't heard it- it's episode 1518. -

Watched a bit last night (they released it late) but listened to the rest of the first segment on the way to work. Just got to commercial break when I arrived, but will make sure to listen to Improv4Humans on my way home so I can actually watch NNF at home once Janet Varney shows up. I love her as a guest on NNF. Her and Jimmy seem to get such a kick out of each other. Hope she doesn't swallow anything funny in her drink! -
I saw he responded after you banned him, and thought you may have been joking about wishing you had that power. Glad to see it just took a little time to take effect. That said, it was great hearing you on the Hooray Show the other day. We miss you here!

"You said, 'Time for snack 'ems!'" -
You pretty much hit the nail on the head. I love a good old fashioned circle jerk (especially when it contains all fluff), and have been trying to work very hard at my lack of ability to deal when not circle jerking or circle jerking with smaller percentages of fluff. It's an ongoing process.

I generally love the Earwolf forums, but there are times when it begins to smell like every other internet podcast forum (where there is plenty of hate and disgust for the Earwolf hosts and guests we all love under the guise of, "Hey, it's just my opinion, man!") I guess I'm just old enough to have learned that pouring energy into something you don't like does not lead to anything good, but, "Hey, it's just my opinion, man!"

Episode 1612 - T.J. Miller
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Limahl?!? There's a reference approximately .001% of the population would get! Also, Shane Mauss's story was probably one of the most amazing and mesmerizing stories I've ever heard on a podcast. God I love this show! -

16 LIZARD, as in the Jimmy character all people in the studio hate. -
Hey Stard- Magic Christian Music's soundtrack was by Badfinger and featured the McCartney penned "Come and Get It." Good stuff!

I love the brown toasts, but they do actually make bags of JUST the brown toasts and it's way too much. -
I LOVED this episode! Zach Sherwin seemed genuinely thrilled to be there and the chemistry was palpable. Plus a nice extra long one!

I was reluctant to listen to this episode because in his heyday, I never really cared for Tom Green, and after reading the comments on the forum (sometimes I should know better) I was thinking that I should skip this one. I thought better of it and listened to it, and I laughed SO hard at this episode! I thought Tom was great and really fit in, Mary and Erin were hilarious, and Scott really kept things chugging ahead. I don't know if any of you have ever lost a long time pet, but sometimes those wounds are fresh and it gets brought up when you don't really expect it to. I felt for Tom a lot, and after a couple minutes, the whole crew, including Tom, really brought the humor into it. I thought it was brilliant. I understand not every episode is for everyone, so I don't want to shit on anyone's opinions, but I think I'll go back to paying more attention to the comments that find the positive.
