Definitely one of my favorite episodes in a while! Ken's energy combined with Ku and How was infectious!

Episode 1610 - Guy Branum
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
All I can say is ditto. It was nice to hear Matt say "I find comedy geared to a specific audience to be cornball" because I definitely feel that way too, and then to have Guy say not necessarily. It helps me to hear that and not be so close minded with my opinions. I have completely fallen in love with this show (thanks Scott Aukerman!) I'm working my way backwards with the old episodes and am at season 10 now. I could listen to these guys rap all day. -
14 - Wizard Sleeves of Waverly Place

If I had a water heater in my studio, that would definitely be the one to have. -
I usually frown upon shitting on an episode, but insider scuttlebutt tells me that Roman literally shit on the episode.

Episode 1609 - Kate Flannery
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Matt Gourley is such a great guest. I would love to see him graduate to NNF Prime- a really good fit for Earwolf listeners who at this point crave Matt's presence. -
Goddammit am I the first one to wonder what the hell is going on with the lighting in the Earwolf studies the last few weeks?!

Episode 1609 - Kate Flannery
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I can't believe this is the first time Kate Flannery has been on NNF. She had such a natural chemistry with the crew. -
I'm for anything that means we don't have to hear the same music every week. This was a nice changeup. There are so many music charts they could do! Hell they could do the top 5 from thirty years ago. One disappointing aspect of playing the guest's music- Howard can't shit on it! That's half my Who Charted entertainment! I also thought Kitty was a wonderful guest. Guests like her allow us middle aged folks to keep a finger on the youth culture, ya know.

Episode 1608 - Matt Walsh

"Aaaahhh, well we all have a tough elevator ride." -
Watching the #bestdayever- Shay and Colette are apparently very popular.

HA! This was great. Especially fun beginning if you can understand Spanish. Hearing old stories about Horatio was priceless.

EPISODE 1 - A Denny's Parking Lot

Beautiful. I think as comedy fans, we love callbacks, and this format plays to that perfectly! -
Episode 1607 - Kevin Bigley

John Butler was a delight! Awesome chemistry. -
Episode 1607 - Kevin Bigley

Players' Club is running late today. I'm going to say "groin." Got to see Jimmy for the first time in Rosemont Friday. I loved it, as did the wife who had only heard a couple bits I had played for her. He stuck around and signed CDs afterwards and took pictures. Real cool guy. -
If there was an episode that I played for someone as an introduction to Improv4humans, this one would be in the top 5.

Episode 1607 - Kevin Bigley
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
My sentiments exactly. You could tell he gave the show a listen and knew the beats. I'm guessing Kevin Bigley made some new fans today! -
I think the general consensus is to not shit on episodes or guests in the forum. I really do think most people take it personally when strangers shit on their work.

Episode 16F - The 500th
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I found this out with Pardcastathon, but I had a blast listening to NNF live in front of an audience. Great show guys! Sharp dressers! -
I really enjoyed Stars- both comedically and musically. Claudia and Neil are the best! I got a lot of joy out of this episode and loved that it was a longer one.

I miss Andy Kindler on Earwolf. He's great with Scott.

I love that Adomian couldn't pull 'baby batter' and said 'beer battered babies' which is infinitely better. The reaction by the rest only made it funnier.

Paul F. Tompkins presents Spontaneanation (Teaser)
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Holy shit I just got a chub. -
The inappropriate and absurd improv was like 9-11 jokes. You either find that type of humor funny and cathartic, or you don't. There have been plenty of CBB moments that could draw the ire of those that are offended easily.
