"7 X 12? That's a weird dimension for a photograph!" had me rolling because that was the first thing I thought too when Horatio said that.
Â
Very glad to hear Horatio again on CBB!

Is this studio the new Earwolf New York?
Not sure, but that table sure looks awfully new! #scrippsbucks #howlbucks

Listening to Jimmy and John argue back and forth about who fucked up Sevens more was classic!

Kind of want to change my forum username to Thundercock now.
Nice pants fuckhead is now my second favorite forum moniker behind CORPSEFUCKER SHITLORD.

Pally seemed beat.
Yeah he was definitely tired, but very funny and surprisingly and refreshingly blunt.

I love this show anyways, but it has really been 'on' lately.

HEY EVERYONE I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN ASKING YOURSELF: WHAT DOES POIKA THINK?!
Â
1) Great ep.
2) I can still listen to a shit load of free content and pay a small fee for old content? Ok! I like these guys and am happy to support them.
3) Fuck corporate America, but God bless the American dream where everything's free and we all get paid.
4) Even the most cynical of you can dream that this is the nudge that Earwolf and Aukerman needed to begin producing new episodes of Mike Detective.
Â
Only for me and me personally, I will make like an REO Speedwagon and roll with the changes. I'll let the naysayers download their napsters and yell at Lars.

I haven't listened to this yet, but Pam Murphy is definitely a top five Earwolf guest for me!

What's with the audio quality of the closing up the plugs bag theme? Sounds like when they added the most recent one it lowered the quality of the rest of it. Lookin' in your direction Engineer Cody Boy
You make a recording of a recording enough times, it gets pretty muddy. I've noticed it myself.

Ugh. Finally got through the whole hilarious episode and finished it very bummed. I know it's selfish but my happy day of UTU2TM, Whooch, and Hooray Show got all its wind taken out of it.
Â
I also hope this doesn't affect Horatio's relationship with CBB and I4H, but Chad produces and edits one hell of a show and I look forward to more Hooray Show where ever it may turn up.

Dammit I've only heard the first 10 minutes of the show and can't listen to the rest until after work... is this the last one or was that a joke?

Oooh I was hoping for Paul Brittain after the CBB episode! I'm going 16 Victor. 16 Victor.

YESSS! Thank you so much for getting the fantastic Rowdy Roddy Piper on the show. I know he has a very different rhythm and storytelling style than the comedians that are usually on The Country (or much of Earwolf), but he's so genuine and fun to listen to. Might be my favorite episode.
I'm not a regular Sklar listener (love the show but I only have time for so many podcasts!) but having Rowdy Roddy on insures it will be in the rotation sometime in the next few days!

One of the reasons I've avoided fame is because I don't want to stop getting drunk fucked in a stall.

I also really enjoyed this episode. I had never heard of Jimmy Pardo before CBB but have become a huge fan of him and his podcast. His appearance on UTU2TM was one of my favorite episodes of any podcast of all time. But I won't belabor my love of Pardo and his chemistry with Scott.
Â
Who knows- maybe Fitch was just a failed character- but for me, Fitch was a well played piece of anti-comedy and 'no-but'ting instead of 'yes-and'ing. Him making the other two jump through hoops until Scott's final meltdown had me laughing my ass off. Like Kickpuncher, I also was a little surprised by the negative reaction on the boards to both Pardo and Fitch, but it has certainly been a lot better back and forth than other divisive Earwolf podcast episodes!

I love all of James Adomian's characters, but I think my favorite character of his is James Adomian. I really love hearing him in his own voice. Emily did a great job too... what a fun episode!

Love how people get to call their R/C helicopters "drones" so they don't have to feel like they're playing with children's toys.
HA!

For anyone thinking about not listening to this particular episode because the comments in this thread are scaring you away- the case closed portion of the episode was far more civil than anything that is taking place on the boards here. Plus, this episode was a classic!
Â
Another point that I wanted to make is that I (as in me personally, not as in you all should feel the same way) think that there is a pretty big difference between an atheist being a curmudgeon about a holy roller football player and the righteous indignation of people who think they know the right and wrong time to use certain words they don't like.
Â
I really appreciated the bully argument more than anything and thought it did a good job of framing the discussion. One can use a plethora of words to insult someone, some more severe than others, but sometimes we all have to wonder if, by bullying, we're curing a headache by chopping off the head. The same could be said of some of the back and forth about this entire subject.

Really enjoyed that Players Club episode last night with Dave Hill. It was fun when they finally broke out the guitar to sing some Dio.
Jimmy jumping up and doing his Dio stage show alone made the video worth watching.

16 Snake. 16 Snake.

This players' club was one of my favorite episodes of all time! Definitely one worth watching instead of listening to. Between Jimmy, J. Keith, Matt and the recorder, Garon on a stick, shitting on Eliot, the medical advice, the sports category on Sevens... I laughed as hard as I ever have at a podcast. I've never been happier that my finances are in order.

Episode 1704 - Larry Miller
in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Posted
He did not go into the head injury, nor was it asked. Larry seemed sharp, but he sounded a little frail. His stories were interesting but I was maybe a little over excited for this interview and found it somewhat dull and humorless. The guys were understandably reverential and didn't jack with him as much as they normally would, and when Jimmy occasionally tried, it seemed to fall on deaf ears. It didn't seem to be a great format for Larry Miller.
Â
In their defense, this was following a fantastic episode with Chip Pope!
