those battles had clear winners and losers, Armageddon was better than Deep Impact, Volcano was better than Dantes Peak. But for Aeon Flux and Ultravoilet, there was no winner. ...Actually Volcano did not beat Dantes Peak, both those movies were bad.

I got that too, my name is Jim Kiler, the I is long so it does not sound like killer. My name is from the Robert Culp starring movie Outrage. A 70's made for TV movie that would be great for this podcast but there is no way to watch it so i will not recommend it.

What is the name of the award for C&O where Paul announced a winner, that should be a bingo point to. As far as getting your movie turned into an episode it really takes a village so unless you started the thread i would count it IMO. Another bingo point can be gained for asking a question in the live episodes.

Too bad HDTGM did not realize this was a funny scene that poked fun of the whole Friday the 13th franchise and was the kind of joke that i would expect in a good movie like Scream. Without the context of watching the prior movies where Jason preyed upon horny teenagers this scene was lost on our favorite podcast hosts. It really is the only good thing in a bad movie and if the writer never watched any prior movies i highly doubt he would have been the one to write that scene in the script.

No way, i so want to read one now. I wonder how bad or good they are. Anyone rewatched Jason goes to Hell lately? Does it hold up? It definitely was the most original on the series with the body transferring going on and the Doctor doing the autopsy eating Jason's heart.

Jason Goes to Hell (the best one, but i have not seen it in a whole time so don't quote me) starts off with an FBI sting to capture Jason and they circle him and shoot him dead and amazingly enough never have a friendly fire issue. The electrocution has not done except to ressurrect him at the beginning of 6 and there never was any courtroom or sentence. Sorry to dissappoint you.

The team talked about David Cronenberg being in this movie. But no one asked why was he in this movie. It does not make sense. Cronenberg made lots of horror movies but they always have an existential theme. Videodrome's message is that TV programs us, eXistenZ questioned what is reality, The Fly questioned death and disease so why would a director of substance be in a movie without any substance? Also i freely admit to paying and seeing this in theaters but i can safely say it is not a good movie.

Please do an episode of a movie i loved in the 80's The Last Dragon. Where the main character is called Bruce Leeroy and it has an awesome 80's soundtrack. I never heard of this movie but Stephen King thinks it got a worse rep than it deserved so i found the trailer and it had potential but i am sure it is not good. I think this could be a great contender for HDTGM. I will add this movie to my nextflix disc queue.

Rumor has it a lot of the budget was spent on spaghetti when Sho'nuff trashes the pasta place. pasta place or pizza place i forget. I did buy the soundtrack to this movie since they remastered it.

I cannot believe i did not suggest this before. This is a horror movie about a man whose wife or girlfirend cheats on him. this somehow causes him to have schizophrenia somehow. He starts playing truth or dare with imaginary people and also becomes a homicidal maniac. He rips out his own tongue at one point. The best part is the director got a church choir to sing the theme song. Here is the imdb plot synopsis: Mike Strauber catches his wife Sharon in bed with his best friend Jerry. He gets mad and takes off to embark on an adventure of murder and self-mutilation in demented games of truth or dare.

I wish i could find the link but 10 years ago after watching this movie on TBS and the hosts who appeared between commercials showed the real Frank Dux who at the time looked like Ray Jackson not JCVD. The article stated according to Frank Dux the real Kumite was more like the movie Lion Heart with tournaments on islands in the bahamas and all over the world.

Next Year they need to do Rudolph's Shiny New Year. It is still played on TV even though it is a piss poor performance perpetuated by a cash grab. 2 things about this Star Wars Christmas Special: no one believes me when i say Itchy and Lumpy are Chewbacca's kids. (does this answer the question of a tree falling in the forest and no one is there to hear it since no one believes me in Chewey's kids names.) Bon Jovi sings in the choir of "We wish you a Merry Christmas C3PO."

Agreed, not a perfect movie, e.g. she lets the drug dealer live in order to further the plot of his attempt to kill her for the finale. But it was fun. I never could decide was the ending supposed to mean she became one with God or she became a God?

Maximum Overdrive should be a great episode, but i loved this movie as a kid.
