Or rather, "command animals to eat themselves"… I'm surprised he hasn't yet told them to suck their own dicks

----SPOILER ALERT---- Brian missed a big opportunity in speaking with the rats. With all due respect, here's how I would have played it: "Listen, Rats! We are not your enemies. We are but travelers who desire safe passage through these halls. Your true enemies are the Rat-Men! They have taken your home, they eat your food, and they sacrifice your lives for the sake of their own whims! Go! Take revenge on your oppressors! Go to their homes and root them out! They may be larger than you, but you are many! GO AND DESTROY THEM ALL!!!!!" *metal guitar riffs in the background* \m/ \m/

Question for Sark: I can't get the Benny Hill theme out of my head now. I've been obsessed with it for a week. What do I do?
-
I just posted this in Character Drawings, but figured it belongs here, too:
-
P.S., I know Blackee looks tiny compared to everyone else. Not what I was trying to do, but again, I rushed!
-
OK! Now it's my turn to take a shot at it! I know it's kind of sloppy, but I haven't had a lot of time lately, so it was rushed. I wanted to post it before the next episode comes on.

wow… that is impressively disturbing.

I have this fantastic/hilarious vision of it in my head, and if I get a couple hours to myself tonight or tomorrow, I may come up with something. It won't be even close to Gustaf-level--my stuff is always pretty rough--but ever since the scene with Yackety Sax, I have been wanting to draw that image. This gem, from Wikipedia: "Television, film and radio[edit] "Yakety Sax" is often used in television and film as a soundtrack for outlandishly humorous situations. It was frequently used to accompany comedic sketches in the ITVcomedy program The Benny Hill Show,[6] where it accompanied otherwise silent, rapidly-paced comedy sequences that typically involved a farcical chase scene. Indeed, "Yakety Sax" is so closely linked to the show that it has come to be referred to commonly as "The Benny Hill Song."[citation needed] On "The Benny Hill Show" the song was performed by Ronnie Aldrich and His Orchestra. Aldrich was the musical consultant of that series. This use of the piece, and the chase scenes themselves, have been parodied in many other movies and TV shows, including the 2006 British film V for Vendetta and the animated TV show Family Guy. The Comedy Central animated programSouth Park also used the piece in one episode."

Guys, what is the name of the song they played when fleeing from the rats? Some kind of zydeco theme? I can't think of what it's called.
-
We really need some art after this latest episode. Too many ridiculous visuals to count.
-
Hilarious episode. I loved the unexpected use of music. Both times, the "scoring" was spot-on. I lost it when the zydeco music came on. The image of Blackee surfing around was great too. Glad you didn't pass up that opportunity! Keep being awesome, you guys!

yeah, go to the episode page, then look for the pictures from the recording session. Click on the arrow on the right and you'll see the art.

YESSSSS this is going to make my day so great after pulling an all-nighter on the second day of classes!

Did you guys forget to get flu shots this year? Damn! Feel better, all...

Hey guys, one thing, I have been wondering about since the episode where they discovered the bridge--wouldn't it behoove the party to start using their intelligence and wisdom stats? They keep trying to figure things out with their own brains, which, as we can see, has been a bumpy ride, and they may have missed a lot of things that Sark has meant for them to have. I love the way the show is going so far, but I'm a little disappointed when people aren't roleplaying smart characters in a smart way. Make some Int and Wis checks!

As someone who LOVES D&D and pretty much anything fantasy related, I really appreciate that Brian & co are doing this. I haven't played in years but this is rekindling my interest in starting up again. I love that they're sharing crazy stories from games past now, too. My favorite character so far is probably Blackee Green. I've always played tough characters, but now I'm starting to think it might be fun to just play one with insanely high charisma. Keep it up, guys!
