Holiday Bundle + Brand New 2014 Single Available Now!
PuncturedJesus replied to BrettMorris's topic in Who Charted?
Bought mine already... but saving for Dec 1. No spoilers please. -
I'm saving this for work, but I cannot adequately express my sleep deprived excitement for the initial sleep deprived worst part of my next work day.

Episode 37 — Bread and Butter
PuncturedJesus replied to admin's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Bread and Butter was well on it's way to becoming a party ritual for my friends. Even a stumblebum drunk can dance better than the backup vocalists and it's really fun to put someone on the spot to try to hit those high notes. -

But I miss that audience shot! -
Episode 62 — TV CARNAGE
PuncturedJesus replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
This was perfectly timed. DVRed Hot Package last week on a whim, watched it for the first time Tuesday, got to listen to this on my way to work yesterday. -
I love whenever Earwolf has comic book folks on shows. More!

Does that apply to radioactive induced blindness? Also, I think that's just naturally implied. No one thinks losing your eyesight makes your hearing into a mutant strength. You just gain more sensitivity because you have less sensory crutches.

Episode 37 — Bread and Butter
PuncturedJesus replied to admin's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Bread and Butter is no longer on YouTube. Somebody hook me up, because I watch that way too often. -
I saw this in theaters on a midnight Thursday showing. Daredevil is tied with the Fantastic Four as my favorite Marvel franchise. I was 18 years old, so for some reason I decided to get hammered beforehand. It didn't make the movie any more palatable. I distinctly remember asking my friend if I could stand up and scream at the movie during the playground fight. He said it was a bad idea, but after the movie was over, he admitted he was wrong. Worst movie I've ever seen in theaters. Daredevil lets someone die on the traintracks? After the famous Frank Miller sequence where he saves Bullseye from a similar fate and hates himself for it? Just months after a movie where a rampaging Hulk DOESN'T KILL A SINGLE PERSON?!? I understand that an adaptation doesn't need to slavishly adhere to the source material. Daredevil not killing is an essential part to his character. Hulk is a goddamn out of control monster. Brubaker was a perfect choice as guest. Excited as hell because (again) this is the worst theater experience I have ever had.

Episode 252 — The Creeeeeeepy Halloween Special
PuncturedJesus replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Jesus, are all the comments complaining based on the guest list? -
Episode 151 — Redeemed or Unredeemed, Hashtag!
PuncturedJesus replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
I have asked on the comments before and no one has responded. What happened to the PFT premium episode? Was it taken down? If someone would send me an mp3 I will gladly donate the $2.99 asked. -
Favorite episode so far.

Episode 59 — What a story, Mark!
PuncturedJesus replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Great episode. Incidentally, I've only been a listener since the Best Of episode and I've already gone through roughly a third of the episodes. Proof that those compilations hook newbies. -
Episode 37 — Bread and Butter
PuncturedJesus replied to admin's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Bread and Butter is probably my favorite clip this podcast has alerted me to. I've watched it about 30 times in the past three days. -
Chicago show was great except for the white, bald, overly drunk man seated in front of me who insisted on SCREAMING during jokes. I really hope the mics didn't pick him up at all and that someone punched him in the face afterwards.

Episode 46 — WAIT, WHUUUT?
PuncturedJesus replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
One quibble. The lead singers for the Mothers in 1971 were Flo and Eddie. Frank was the only guitarist, and he couldn't sing and play at the same time, so he didn't do much singing. -
Is this single still available anywhere? Or the premium PFT episode? Anyone?

Episode 20 — Bob Odenkirk

Next time I marathon Mr Show I will be on the lookout for Jeff's laugh. -
Episode 56 — SEX, DEATH & ROCK AND ROLL
PuncturedJesus replied to Brett Arnold's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
I'm very glad that you brought up Zappa. I never knew what he did exactly on Freak Out and the numerous Zappa books I've read said that he was just a hanger on Frank briefly found fascinating. -
What happened to that premium Paul F Tompkins ep? I would like to hear it...

I absolutely loved parts of this episode and contemplated bailing at other parts. -
Episode 100 — Best of improv4humans Vol. 3
PuncturedJesus replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Small complaints: Nothing with Lauren Lapkus or Ian Roberts, and that the Todd Glass carnival game didn't make the cut. Loved the interview at the end. Wow, episode 95 really dominated this and the best of What's Bothering You. Best of 4 SOON. -

Tom Petty's Beard is something that pops in my head constantly. Scene of the year indeed. -
I don't know if this was marketed at kids, but seven year old me was obsessed with this movie. I just loved the art direction, in retrospect.

New character from PFT?!?!? UGH SO EXCITED. I don't want to say bad things about him, because he is consistently EXCELLENT but I'm a little burnt out on some of his characters...
