the handing over the plug prank makes me laugh so hard even though i can't see it, I think just hearing the reaction to them both forgetting and getting fooled by it every single time.

I've been going back and listening to old episodes lately, does anyone else notice something weird with the audio on this one? they go to a break and instead of a song there's just a big block of silence, this happens a few times, and after one you can like hear them chatting like they're on a break, you can even hear Scott say "are you ready James" right before he comes back to the show and introduces the character segment. very meta

she was awesome. I get nervous sometime with first time guests and you can usually tell how they'll play along from how they react to and answer Scott's early interview questions, some answer them seriously like it's real interview and I can tell they won't totally get it but Alex was playing around and giving joke answers from the get go and I knew immediately she could hang, and she didn't disappoint

I just watched this again today and needed to bump this recommendation. it's so amazingly bad, the production design is like David Lynch's Dune meets Pluto Nash. Also, it takes place on a planet where tiny fish people fuck tiny dog people!! I love it!
