    I think it is yes and no, just depends on the sponsor. Yes, because doesn't Paul say on an episode that Stamps.com is no longer a sponsor because they did not like cussing in their ads? On the other hand, I think most leave it up to the podcaster and don't care what they say as long as they can translate it to sales.

     

    In other words, they don't care how the message is delivered as long as it is delivered, and as we all know, if you want anything delivered you should use motherfucking Stamps.com.

     

    yeah I think you're right, I remember way back when Duncan Trussell talking on his podcast about how i think it was Amazon or something pulling their sponsership of his show because his ad readings were so bonkers. On the flipside, if you ever listen Greg Proops' podcast, he does ad for a lot of the same companies as Earwolf and couldn't more disinterested and dismissive in his readings of the ad copy and the sponsers don't seem to care.

    If that's the case, that's so weird. That Patton episode came out way before this episode. There was quite a lot of articles on Zack's appearance because he kind of hinted that he wasn't thrilled with Mel Gibson potentially being in Hangover 2. But that segment was actually kind of celebrated so I don't think that's it.

     

    yeah it is weird but it's the best I could come up with. haha, this was one of the first things I read when I got up this morning and I've spent way more time than I should have already today trying to figure this out. I LOVE A MYSTERY!

    Can anyone tell me what the "debacle" Scott is talking about...is? He said something about the Today Show, but google is failing me.

     

    my guess is it's most likely the Conan/Leno Tonight Show debacle. Comedy Death Ray got mentioned in this article quoting Patton saying Leno sucks on the show

    I unfortunately have to agree. Blaine should go back to just being a character. If Sark isn't coming back (which has always seemed to be the case), then they should try to recruit Spencer Crittenden from Harmontown to DM for them. He's a really solid, funny DM, and lives in the same area (I think) - maybe he'd like another gig, and if he can keep the drunken Harmontown crew generally pointed in the right direction, he could certainly reign these guys in too.

     

    As it stands now though, the show has become unlistenable for me. I hope they make some sort of change to pull me back in.

     

    Spencer's great but judging from what he's said on Harmontown he's DMing like 3 different games already. I'm sure there's other competent DM's in the LA area I think they went with Blaine to sorta keep in in the NP family. but yeah the game is really off the rails, I hate that i feel this way but i just can't get excited about it anymore, it feel like a chore, and clearly a lot of people feel the same way (i guess even some of the ones trying to still be positive about it in this thread) just look at the fan art thread for proof, that thing used to be busting with new stuff week after week. no ones posted anything in weeks, and even then it's averaged maybe one or two new drawings a month since the new campaign started.

    She took the part with her bird PECKING OUT HIS FUCKING EYES way too lightly. When you're taking care of someone and your pet attacks, like, one of three parts on his body that's still working, show some goddamn sympathy, you witch.

     

    the one thing i didn't understand was like, is this the only fucking nurse in town? why wasn't he like "hey you're fired bitch, get your fucking parkeet outta my house." they established his mom is like rich and willing to spend money on all this shit, was it to hard to just find a nurse who wasn't such a fucking asshole, also fuck your bird, this is your job having that thing fly around pecking at this paralyzed dude's face is not only unprofessional but totally irresponsible and selfish. she's lucky she was allowed to just quit.

    I don't feel like she'd be one to do some dumb bit like the one I'm imagining here, but I have to ask anyway: was Natasha's thing with the shekels in her throat for real?? That was crazy.

    Not a podcast per se, but for quite a while he did characters on a semi-weekly basis on The Best Show on WFMU. He was, of course, fucking hilarious on the Best Show.

     

    Well, I don't know anything about that but if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go listen to Captain Jack and drink a Smirnoff Ice Harlem Shuffle

    I'm surprised he hasn't been on yet. He's friends with a lot of recurring CBB guests, and I'd love to see him on as either himself or a character.

    Other than that, has Scottrick had Chad Carter or Brian Huskey in before? They're two of my favorite I4H regulars.

     

    Brian Huskey is on episodes 139, 172, 238 and 304

     

    Chad Carter was on episode 117

     

    and I think Jon Benjamin is New York based so that's probably the main reason why he's not been on, though, I don't know if I've even heard him on a podcast come to think of it.
