pretty good interview, she talks about the origin of the show and stuff. I had no idea she has the guests pick the character she plays so she has no idea what it's going to be before they start. awesome.

Ummm people don't love Cameron Esposito? Ugh I should come to these forums even less frequently.
Â
yeah, there's a weird contingent of in denial homophobes (probably sexists too) who are really threatened by a woman making any mention of her sexual orientation.

Also, JUICE BAR GOLEM!
Â
Man, I hope PFT get Todd Glass on here, either as a interview guest or improviser

Hey now, don't group MY favorite genre of music in with THIS GUY. Metal is my bag and I am into Norse Mythology.... though I don't have any runic tattoos. With that said, if you can't get down to stuff like this (let alone the HDTGM theme), then there is no funky bone in your body...

I love metal, as I love all kinds of music. I wasn't trying to disparage metal. I'm just fucking with this bonehead.

I'm trying but your boring ass complaints about the evils of rap are boring the hell out of me
-
Quasar-rap is "wide in breadth and scope"? Don't make me laugh. Every time I hear a rap song, I can't tell the difference between one or the other, it's all the same, talking about "bitches and hoes", smoking the chronic, using the n-word, robbing stores, being money-obsessed, yet people like you wanna shove this stuff down my throat, accusing me of being closed-minded. And yet I'm willing to bet you hate metal music, am I right? Talk about being closed-minded. So please get off my back, would you?
Â
of course you like metal. let me guess you're super into Norse mythology and have runic tattoos.

also, I don't think you know what fascism is, what are you like 13?
-
must turd...what an accurate description.
Â
OK, what did I say in my posts that was racist? Not a damn thing. That's another thing I'm sick and tired of: this idea that if you don't like rap music, you must be a racist. Spare me the politically-correct bullshit, Al Sharpton. I'm not gonna let you play the race card around here. And there's nothing wrong with saying "retarded", Jen. This has nothing to do with the mentally-handicapped. I don't need a speech Nazi telling me what I can and can't say. This political-correctness fascism must be stopped, plain and simple.
Â
ok, i'll admit i was trolling you because I think you're the worst, but with every idiotic response you make you dig your hole deeper you creep. Keep it up, what'll you say next?

I haven't watched this film in years, so I don't have anything to add except that this was another great episode even with my hazy recollections of this trainwreck.
Â
I did want to mention what my first bad movie was, though. I specifically remember seeing Toys in the theater when I was around ten or so and being unimpressed and really confused by it. Almost twenty years later I would re-watch it, get extremely upset at its mediocrity, furiously type "TOYS SUCKS TERRIBLE MOVIE" etc. into the Google rabbit-hole hopeful that I would find a like-minded rant, and instead found a podcast with an entire episode devoted to this travesty of a movie. That plucky little podcast? How Did This Get Made?
Â
And so a fan was born. All I can say is "thank you." Now I know I'll never be alone on a Friday commute again.
Â
I love that story!

That's well and good Spunky Foonerism, but how do you feel when a female guest goes "blue", or when some comics reference their sexual preference a few times? Can we count on you to overreact whenever you have a contradictory thought and then post your grievances here and promise not to compromise on those opinions while at the same time bumming out everyone who reads your rambling words?
Huh?
Â
also, how much do you want to fuck Lauren Lapkus and how often will you tell us about it? spare no creepy detail.

there was some real Matt Gourly level choking back laughter in this episode, I loved it.
Â
and the music during the script reading was fantastic, the "love" scene starting with Saves The Day then transitioning into Alien Ant Farm was a thing of beauty.

Look, I'm just saying there was no reason to change the theme song. The old theme was just fine. Just because some re+arded fan made it doesn't mean you have to use it. This new, stupid rap theme is the New Coke to the old theme's Coca-Cola Classic. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, you know.
Â
And I have a right not to like rap music, OK? I'm sick of having it shoved down my throat everywhere I go. And we wonder why the dumbing-down of America is happening.
Â
...alright, I say it, you're a straight up racist.

I was nearly in tears at the end of the Dumbo clip then a minute later I was laughing hysterically. Awesome episode.
Â
They did that in the 420 episode just a couple of weeks ago.
Â
Yes! that's right. haha I love that such a weird specific thing comes up in a scene more than once
-
June's being so upset by the little guy being a real person was upsetting to me.

Matt thinking of Wild Horses while watching the gossipy Dumbo elephants was spot on. When the clip was playing I was like, "Ok, yeah, I can totally see where Matt got that. They're totally in Wild Horses' wheelhouse." Then when they started the scene? Holy cats. "Wait- are they playing another clip?!" Everyone was SO on point with their over-the-top, animated elephant voices. Truly a delight.
Â
I lost it when they were watching it and all said "awwww" then immediately after, the elephants all said "awwww"

god damn, I can't remember what episode but I swear this is the second time there ended up being a scene about a woman who's clit burned to ash.

Will this really be the last year of CBB?
Â
did Scott say that in the episode?
Â
I highly doubt it, It's Earwolf's flagship show, and because of the tv show connection is the one that is the most likely to bring in new Earwolf listeners who arn't already into the comedy podcast thing.

What if Sharknado had involved face transplants with the sharks??
Â
or Deep Blue Sea!
Â
maybe that's why LL Cool J's song is from the perspective of the shark, maybe they weren't actually super smart sharks but actually humans who had been face/offed with sharks. that's how they know about turning on the oven and stuff.

in Greek mythology Castor and Pollux were twin brothers (Gemini in Roman mythology). one was mortal and one was half god. they were also the brothers of Helen of Troy. pretty clever screenwriters! maybe you should've spent less time proving you read the Illiad and more time thinking of something better than "throat microchip"

I need to know before I listen, does Kevin Pollak pollute this episode with his shitty impressions? every time I hear him shoehorn in his "amazing" Christopher Walken I wanna blow my brains out.
