The best part about this episode and Tito Ben is that Filipino Blockbuster is an actual kiosk in the actual Eagle Rock Plaza. It might really be called Pinoy Blockbuster which is basically the same. Next time I'm in the Eagle Rock Plaza I'll go to the kiosk and ask for Tito Ben...

So I don't know what you're opinions are on researching your guests through other podcasts, but I feel like you guys could've have gone so much deeper with Oscar, if you knew more about him. I listened to him on Aisha Tyler's Girl on Guy and he revealed so much. He partied at Studio 54, he was connected with Jersey unions, he did some shady illegal shit in Florida (assuming it had something to do with his Cuba connections) stuff he was hesitant to talk about. Still a fun podcast but I feel like you guys should've known more about him especially since you were so surprised about his age. Listen to his Girl on Guy!!! Love the show, though!! Love the Time Warner commercials! Keep on bringing the funny, bros!!!!

It is a great movie, a cult classic, and ridiculously hilarious. But the jokes written in the script don't make it hilarious, the performances and the plot make me laugh the most. That's why I say it's one of those "so bad it's good" movies. I really don't think they were trying to be funny with this flick. I think they were trying to make an earnest kung fu film. It's very evident in the movie poster. The Last of His Kind. The Best of the Best. ABSOLUTELY!

I created an account just to suggest this movie, and am angry/not surprised that someone beat me to it!! This movie has so much to talk about, the innumerable levels of racism, the sketchy plot, the awesomely horrible uber 80's R&B music, the complete 5:00 music video in the middle, TRAINING MONTAGE!!!, and of course, one of the greatest villains in movie history, SHO 'NUFF the shogun of Harlem!!! This is a must for this podcast!!! Please watch it!!!!
