this is worth it for Party Time alone, to be honest. I'd love to hear Jason's take on it specifically.

Scary was my favorite - I remember really liking her style and her solo music actually isn't half bad. same goes for Sporty, who I agree looks even better now than she did 15 years ago.

by "he" I actually meant Russell Crowe, sorry. I should've clarified. and yeah, Hugh normally sounds really great when he sings, but for some reason he was shaking all over the place in Les Mis. I still enjoyed it a lot, but after a while it was all I heard when he opened his mouth.

actually, I thought Russell sounded better than Hugh at certain points. I'm 99% sure he was protooled half to death in post (you can definitely hear it), but Jackman's vibrato was a bit too much sometimes.

I second the hell out of this. honestly, they could spend about two episodes discussing Brendan Fraser's facial expressions alone...every freeze frame of him in the first movie is a hysterical face.

this movie...where do I even start, honestly - Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa acting (terribly), no less than three full-length music videos over the course of its meager 87 minute running time, genius punny character names like Principal Skinfloot, Andy Milonakis giving anal sex in a wheelchair, and...weed farts. oh yes, and an animated joint voiced by Mystikal is the narrator. it's just...a masterpiece, and the minute I saw it I thought of HDTGM. it's on Netflix, if you're curious.
