I feel like if it was fake it would have a punchline instead of just being really sad -
His reasoning was that by that time that guy should have been into newer music than Jimi Hendrix, and so he deserved to get stabbed. That was my favorite part of the episode its so great

Yeah Kyle was kinda a dick and Aaron was trying to ask this math guy a bunch of existential questions about the universe and just overall was a train wreck I enjoyed it though

The only thing I don't like about Case Closed segments is when you do a skit based on it afterwards its kind of a straw man argument and it feels unfair -
I think he was making a really obscure reference to Episode 102 of Comedy Bang Bang
