The fight over wearing the glasses just about killed the whole movie for me.

Before there was Nic Cage, we had Chuck Norris! This one stars Chuck and Lou Gossett Jr. and has a ZERO on rotten tomatoes. It's definitely time for a Chuck Norris flick!

Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves...need I say more? This film is ideal for HDTGM. Please do it!

Ok...I'm going to lose my shit if this podcast doesn't show up soon. Stop torturing us!!!

You know how when you see a great comedy and you want to remember all of the funny parts, but you have a hard time remembering any because there are so many. Well that's how I felt about this movie. There were so many HDTGM moments I would need to go back with a notebook to get them all down. Just their fighting stance alone is worthy of an entire episode.

Don't sell this film short, Paul. It easily stands tall next to The Room and Birdemic. I think this was a good career move for Jeff Fahey. I was blown away by how well he was able to deliver his lines despite being cast alongside soap opera robots. He's a true talent.

Wow! This movie was amazing! The detective was maybe the best character in any movie I've ever seen! He should've won the Oscar, easily.

I think it's a no brainer for you guys to start a TV discussion podcast. You could talk about the shows you love, bad shows, or a specific show. TV has pretty much surpassed the cinema at this point. Do it! Congrats on your child! If it's a boy, will you name him Chev?

I remember loving this movie as a kid. Can't remember much about it, but I definitely remember it being pretty bonkers.

Totally agree. The minute I walked out of Wolf, I said to my wife, if his screen time qualifies he should win supporting actor.
-
Might be the wrong place for this but I have to say, Paul, you were the best guest ever on Talking Dead. Solid insights and hilarious commentary. "Walkers be like blahhh". Classic!

I enjoyed this movie. I wouldn't even put it in my top 500 movies I'd like to see on HDTGM. Way too good, IMO.

Did anyone else think the "salt mine" looked like a warehouse with some salt in it. And of course the extras just lazily swinging their picks, getting nothing accomplished in the background.
-
...or are production companies pulling movies from Netflix, amazon prime, etc., when they hear HDTGM is doing them? It seems like 3 or 4 of the last 10 movies have been on Netflix or HBO right up until Paul announces they're covering them. Then they disappear only to return a couple weeks after the podcast. Has anyone else noticed this?

Gotta be Gymkata!

Yep, and in both cases I was forced to rent on iTunes. Pretty sure it's not a coincidence.

Episode 69 — Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles

Apparently you don't have remote controls either, based on Dundees inability to manage a television set on multiple occasions. -
Episode 69 — Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles

Agree -
I was wondering the same thing.

Because in each case I had to rent or buy the movie, rather than view it on Netflix or hbo go as I could have the week before.

Episode 65 — Howard the Duck: LIVE!

I was at Largo for this one. Best show, of any kind, that I've seen in a long time. It was one of those shows where I'd miss jokes because I was laughing so much. Explanation hope was the greatest thing I've heard. Then to see Jason stand up, walk across the stage, and call the explanation hoper a dummy...priceless. If you are in New York, buy your tickets now. -
Paul said he would announce the NY movies on the next podcast.

On the contrary, I seek enlightenment. I have been wracking my brain on this one. Maybe if you throw me a couple examples I will understand where you're coming from. I assume you are speaking of current or relatively current films, right? Not trying to be antagonistic, just trying to understand.
-
I just can't wait for the EH&A portion of the show.

What movies are you watching? Filmakers go out of their way to portay bad guys as dopey white guys in stupid clothes. Seriously, I would love some examples.
