whoa. there is a lot of dislike of Nova on the boards! I didn't think she came off that bad, did she? Maybe because I already knew what to expect from her. While her music isn't groundbreaking it is pretty catchy to me personally. That Batman song is still really great 2 years later. Overall I thought it was a pretty good episode and Howard and Kulap really seemed to be enjoying it!

I love when MLR is on. To be honest, Eddie's character wasn't doing too much for me. I would have preferred him to just be Eddie without the mental health backstory. I'm also loving these musical guests Scott is having on lately. I will definitive be checking out Twin Shadows' past and future work. These were some gooood songs.

[HDTGM.....Video Game Edition?]

The Angry Video Game Nerd and his friends have had some pretty great videos this year that would would fall into HDTGM territory, particularly a two-parter on the Universal Studios game where you spend 90% of the time running back and forth across the park (with a horrible, horrible camera angle that sometimes makes it impossible to figure out where you really are) picking up trash and standing in line just so you can spend 2 minutes playing a Back to the Future mini-game.

 

OMG this game. I will spend the whole night watching youtube clips of this now.

this episode was hilarious and a prime example of why I hope it never ends. Scott seemed to be genuinely getting upset about Harris being not being as chill as he thinks he is. I love how Scott can make the most tired thing hilarious again. Like Adam and Steve.

[Episode 299 — Don’t Hack the SAC]

pretty funny episode. I was wondering who was playing Claudia until after the show I found out it was...Claudia. She was funny and I'd like to hear her on again. Al was hilarious as always. I only wish they had created more song parodies.

 

oh yeah, Scott, Universal Studios DOES have a year round haunted house. It's the first attraction on the left after that main street.

back to the episode, I wish Show had stayed and enjoyed his banter w Wain. Yeah, Neil's character wasn't that great but it kinda got salvaged towards the end. I loved the very end where Scott said he hoped to see more of him and Neil just say that's hiiighly unlikely.

I'm going to check out Lonnie asap... it seems like it should be pretty great. I really enjoyed Scott's the bouqs,not the Zouks, promo. maybe just bc the name itself sounds pretty funny. All in all a great episode and Traci's ghost answer was classic. sidenote: she mentioned the duck meme I made so that's pretty cool! and I'll totally buy a TR pillow.

[No tour this year?]

When scott did a reddit AMA he said that there wouldn't be a tour, just some dates throughout the year. I'd imagine it has something to do with that 40 episode season 4 renewal.

[Episode 292 — DJs Are Sleaze Js]

Love Jenny Slate's love of poo and fart humor. She mentions it on twitter a lot but it was just really funny to hear her talk about it on the show. This episode had some great moments: the kindergarten cop sequel, Jenny's Arnold impression, scott's annoyance with JD, Jenny's cat calls and the fact she would do Godzilla if he had a BIG OL BUTT. Merrill was entertaining as welll. I'll definitely check out her music.

[Episode 36 — On the Line]

For certain HDTGM movies I will put them on in the background as I do something else. Big mistake for this one bc now I have to rewatch this to catch the sound effects and Sammy Sosa. This was a great ep and Ike was a fantastic guest. He needs to return!

I just listened to this today. The life of the party scene was great and this also has the first would you rather, which was hysterical. I finally found out where the WYR theme comes from. I loved Daly's ghost bit as well.
