  1. i love that her one question for Michael Jackson was a WYR.

    Help Me Rhonda was great.

    paraphrasing here:

Ah ok this next question is a good one- Should I do my laundry today or wait until tomorrow?

Earwolf is just too good to me. I look forward to these new podcast eps (CBB, WC, HDTGM, UTU2TM, WSGLL) more than I do my favorite tv shows.

  2. yes that Naomi and Kulap ep NEEDS to happen.

I've always thought a good ep would be where they tackle U2's guest appearances on other people's music. For example, Wyclef did a remix with Bono a long time ago. i was also watching something where Wyclef was performing and brought the Edge up to play along, plus the Edge has been on some of his albums. Bono has also collaborated with K'naan. I'm sure there's a ton of other songs that I'd love to hear their take on.

  3. Good episode but I like the ones where Chelsea partakes in the fun a bit more. I listened to her ep from Jan with the Bachelor Brothers and that is probably one of my favorites from the year. Also funny to hear her and Scott talk reference the same subjects: periods, benign nine, ab-so-lutely. Still a good ep though! Seth really grossed me out with his whispering. ughhh.

  4. I made a note in my Google Calendar over a year ago to remind myself to definitely vote for #259, Charlotte's Website. America, this is you.

And I don't know if the whole episode will make it, but I think the Closing Sentiment Off from #265 is the single funniest thing I heard all year.

This was the year of Lapkus. Behold.

yes...Charlotte's website definitely snuck up on me. The AFV theme song by Lapkus was ringtone for about half the year. It's so old that people might forget about but it's definitely a worthy of a mention.

  5. Its always been good enough but the most recent was a little worse.

They can get harris in with Adam Scott, that's enough for tons of fun for us fans. I think they maybe should break off Chaz Palmen-retti and toss her in with Andy Samberg and maybe Joe Lo Truglio for a Benign-9 themed annual episode. As parks and rec says goodbye and B99 maybe stays around for years, that could be the new annual event

good idea ... but Chels is so good on Farts. she has great original characts (the curious Latina) and her wolf story from F+R3 is so so so good. Maybe just have her do both :P

  6. Bono is taking part in Band Aid 30 and I saw him being interviewed for that, calling the new singers he is working with "Star Trek:The Next Generation." I also saw him last week on Later...with Jools Holland and U2 did a mini interview there where he said 100 million people sampled the album and 30 million kept it and brought it into their lives. This week they are doing their 5 night stint on Jimmy Fallon. I dunno, this seems like good enough reason to record another ep.

  7. good show all around! ana was a great guest and i love that Scout loved her music. "Oh yeaah this is riiight up my alley." As far as riddle me this, i have grown to love it I just feel it has gotten to the point where Scott is quick to abandon it. This one ended really fast and the actual riddles were not too great :D i must point out, i love that Gino could have just aid WOODy Allen for his brown answer but went to Doody. also, bonus points anytime Scott busts out his Woody impression.

Speaking of "points" Gino's Chris Hardwick line was hilarious.

  8. a lot of these look super interesting but I might have to pick and choose which episodes of the podcasts I listen to. I already don't have enough time to listen to the small group of pods I try to listen to regularly (CBB, HDTGM, Call Chelsea Peretti, Whooch). Has anybody listened to these and have any thoughts? There is some great talent behind these.

  9. I just think most companies know what they are kind of getting when they advertise with these shows. Plus I honestly enjoy a lot of Scott's ad readings because sometimes they are insanely hilarious (a recent one involving a police case comes to mind) and I do think some of these companies sound interesting.
