This is very strange. I just went outside to smoke (sorry) and was looking at my phone, and saw that email you get from twitter that tells you what people are tweeting since I never look at twitter. One of the tweets was a list from BJ Novak of 'post 2012 episodes of this office I wish I could have written'. I had never seen this lists app before, and as soon as I got back to my desk I saw this post. Are you monitoring me? Is my employer paying you? get ready for one of my famous rants. Here we go, baby.. I pretty much only listen to earwolf podcasts. at least, those are the only ones that I listen to regularly. recently, i started listening to doughboys (which is on a different, more salacious podcast network that I won't name here out of respect). I blew through all of the episodes in a couple of weeks, and now I'm caught up. My understanding was that new episodes were released on Thursdays, Now, I've checked the calendar a couple of times this morning and it is, indeed, Thursday. Yet there is no new ep of Doughboys. Is this how they run things at that other network? Unacceptable. HOWL 4 LIFE

at my last job, there was some kind of computer program/algorithm thing called DRAMA (an acronym for something I'm sure), so there were guys whose job was to always be surrounded by DRAMA. And you what? They were men and I'll bet that did get mentioned in their performance reviews so think about that ladies.

I'd recommend at least fast forwarding to the last 17 min of Hayes' appearance on the Best Show. He tells a pretty funny tale of the boys getting in some classic mischief with advertisers. edit: when I say 'The Best Show', I of course meant 'the best show that records in new jersey'

since WTF is part of Howl now, 2nd place should be that you get a tour of Marc Maron's house and sit in his garage during a podcast recording. Since his house is a lot smaller than Earwolf studios, he just fills the time by showing you his records, and makes you watch him play the guitar and suck on nicotine lozenges. Also, you don't get to stay in a hotel. You have to sleep on his back porch with all the stray cats. And he picks you up from the airport

That's the exact reason I'd lean towards CBB

that reminds me - I've turned my position as commissioner into a dictatorship. Even though the poll about playing for $ ended 5-4 in favor of playing for cash, I've made an autonomous decision to ignore all of you and not do it. I don't want to be held responsible for other people's money if it forces me into a position of having to answer for the Draft King. If anyone just wants to mail me cash in a birthday card, I'll accept that. I didn't like going through the draft king, it made me feel icky.

guys, did you see that contest on the earwolf homepage about winning a trip to the studio and sitting in a podcast recording? Let's start a fun discussion - if you won, which podcast would you sit it on? For me, it would be a tough choice between HH and CBB. I feel like so many forum people have already been on HH, it kind of diminishes it's value as a contest prize. Also - it would be scarier b/c they would definitely make fun of me. Also, good ep. I watched the video before, but listening to the audio is also fun. Great job everyone.
