EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

I learned my lesson. Don't worry guys.

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

    Speak on that
  3. Master Chef is the one with regular schlubs. I was in Cooperstown for a Bon Iver concert at the Ommegang Brewery for a little birthday vacation. I did not make it to the baseball hall of fame but I did go to the farming museum.
  4. Well, Frank was the New York italian guy on season 3. He made it pretty far I think. Pretty soon after that season was over, the wife and I went up to Cooperstown NY. We got there on a Sunday and there was only one place open in the whole town so we went there to get some drinkies. There was just a bunch of people standing in the bar area watching football. Then my wife says "is that fucking Frank from Master Chef?" AND IT WAS. and he's from Brooklyn or something so it's weird we were both there. It feels good to get that off my chest after 3 years of no one caring.
  5. I don't suppose anyone in the U.S. watched Master Chef? It's the only reality show (show) I've ever watched and I've never met a single person other than my wife who watches it. Which is upsetting because I saw Frank from MasterChef in Cooperstown, NY, which was totally crazy but NO ONE CARED BECAUSE NO ONE WATCHED IT.
  6. Likes are priced on a sliding scale. Here's how it breaks down: I get 5 cents for each like from regular forum poster (except monsterface and sillylillyquee, they've flooded the market with likes and moved to bitcoin, which I don't understand) 7 cents from the forum elders, .09 cents for a like from an engineer 15 cents for a like from Hayes 25 cents from Sean (this is not based on favoritism, just supply and demand) I'm still waiting for my like check from Jeff U, but I'll let you guys know. That was a weird question Jakal. Isn't everyone getting the same deal?
  7. Sorry kittens. The forum will never dump you. Maybe you should toss around that sweet frisbee? Smoke a bunch of cigarettes? Get the biggest sloppiest fucking pizza you can find?
  8. Agreed. The solo bolo with Maron wasn't the best. Apparently it was only a solo bolo bc someone cancelled last minute. So I enjoy that ep purely bc Scott had to do an unplanned solo bolo with a guy he doesn't seem to like very much. What about Louie? Seinfeld? What big name stand up would suck the least?
  9. I think it might be good. A lot of people sort of half nervously play along, but it's always funny when the guest calls them out on their relationship with plurals, etc...To hear Maron go off and S&H pretending not to know what he's talking about has potential I think.

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

Don't let him get to you. The guy can't even grow his own hair
  11. I think I'd like to hear Marc Maron on the handbook. It would be terrible, but it could also be surprisingly great. Speak on that.
  12. I think I bought a pair of sneakers from bonobos with a promo code from CBB. Turns out I'm really susceptible to advertising and never realized it.
  13. I use smoothies This actually an interesting topic: does/has anyone use the products they're always advertising on podcasts? I've used Harry's razors, but I think it was before I ever heard them on a podcast ad (i definitely am trying to intimate that I was using them before they were cool). I signed up for Squarespace b/c I had some dumb idea for a website that I was too lazy to follow through with, so I let that lapse. And my glasses are from Warby Parker.. I started typing this thinking I was going to say that I don't think I've ever bought anything, but turns out that's not true. Nice work, Midroll! You got me you sneaky bastards. I've never used stamps.com, or signed up for anything where they send you boxes of shit or underwear or socks, or snacks or whatever. Also, that company that makes the shirts that are made to be tucked in is the worst idea I've ever heard.

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

I like when Stan Sitwell read the menu out loud to Lucille at the country club. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of what he's doing now. It's not that it's bad, it's just different I guess.
  15. I don't there will ever be a better analogy for anything. You win CFSL
  16. Ok, thanks guys. I feel better now.
  17. Hey guys, so I've got 2 or 3 likes from Hayes, a like from Brett, but tonight I got a like from Jeff Ullrich. I'm not really sure what comes next. Should I brag about it? Should I just play it cool? Should I retire from the forums? I genuinely don't know what to do. I'm totally not freaking out but it's totally cool. I mean, Jeff isn't really a celebrity or anything, he's really just a businessman, right? So it's not a big deal? Or is it? I don't know. Holy shit.

Hayes laughs like nobody watching. And i love it

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

When I first started listening, I remember saying to my former girlfriend whom I married, "they're always mixing up 'is' and 'are' and no one ever points it out"
  20. ADC you must feel pretty dumb now that goddamn Jeff Ullrich is a regular handbook head and you didn't even include him in the Sgt Pepper picture.
  21. Him and Scott got in a big fight. Something about Kyle sharing Scott's secret Aukerman family recipe for dumplings

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

    Are you lost?
  23. This is amazing but I smell a Nick Kroll style photoshop payola scam. How much did Joe and Greggy pay to get those prime spots?
