The 1984 Canadian-made ripoff of Flashdance centered in the cutthroat world of Jazzercise, which ends with an honest-to-God aerobics marathon. Domestic abuse, bizarre competitions, 80's clothes, and a little somethin' for daddy. Plus, it garnered this great five-star review on Amazon:
"There are so many great scenes in the film for example when Dale dances alone in her club after a fight with her beau. You see the mixed emotions of how she's feeling expressed only through her body language. It's really a nice moment."
You guys would flip for this, but I think it'll be hard to track down.
