we're just having a discussion between friends. we know exactly who is paying for the hosting and we are always respectful to our hosts. we all knew this was coming. we're just here to try to fill some time before the next episode drops. and to be fair, we do contribute to the show. the forums have always been a large part of the mini's and alot of us have been here for years. not im not saying it's a totally selfless way to spend my time, i'm sure we all get a kick out of getting a mention. but we also create content and awareness off the forums too. and if you listen back to the howdies alot of the shout outs at the end for people who did work for them were from here. and just to be clear, i'm not saying that makes us entitled to free content, but i would hope it would give us a little room for discussions like this. and lets try to refrain from comments about what people can or should be able to afford. if you can afford it then bully for you but if you cant see how others might not be able to then at least try to keep that to yourself. right ... i need to go and watch escape from LA. as suggested by some of you previously i watched escape from new york the other night in prep for escape form LA and really enjoyed it so hopefully the LA instalment will be just as entertaining. edit: it took me a while to get that posted because my internet connection is acting the maggot these past few days. if anything has been said since to contradict me then cool beans ... also

That makes sense. I'm guessing the limited prior notice was so there wouldn't be a mad rush of downloading from people stocking up. And also that the revenue from the adverts in the oldest eps dried up ages ago so they're probably costing earwolf money at this stage. And why shouldn't they make money from their work ... good for them.... I mean the amount of work that went into the howdies was crazy ... Just hope it doesn't stop new listeners joining in the fun. more people listening should mean more revenue from adverts which hopefully means the longer the show will go on .. hopefully But just looking on twitter ... the reaction has not been pleasant. I understand the frustration from people who only just discovered the podcast but some of the comments are just nasty for the sake of it. I wonder how reddit is taking it?

i know, i was just trying to illustrate a point. horse has bolted and all that. i was never really a big gamer though but we did have a SNES. the amount of time i spent chasing down my copies of games.... you'd give William super mario kart and a week later he hadn't returned it so you'd call over only for him to tell you he swapped it for FIFA with Joe. then you'd take FIFA off Will and call into Joe only to find out he swapped it for Donkey Kong Country with Rob ... and so on ... and then the parents would moan cause we weren't getting enough fresh air? ... i just spent half a day chasing down Mario Kart mam! and now i'm too tired to even play it .. fun times but just out of interest ... is the smurfs episode available on HOWL?

the only earwolf show i listen to is HDTGM so the price of HOWL.fm is abit steep just for 2 episodes a month but at least the new eps are still free. luckily i have all the old eps downloaded. hoarding has it's advantages sometimes. remember the days when you would share stuff with friends like games, videos & music. but i suppose that's frowned upon these days ... there must BE other ways for YOU TU find earlier episodes? that's probably bad form though

getting a c&o nom for a howdie ...

watched this to take a break from the holiday movies but now im wondering why i have never watched it before. it's nuts. Lance Henriksen is amazing in it and van damme's hair could fill the whole episode ... it's well worth a watch even if it never gets covered. but i really hope it gets the HDTGM treatment

through all the shit she went through she came out fighting and cracking jokes. she made me laugh when she was hurting. she made me laugh when i was hurting. i know i only saw her on tv shows and stuff but whenever she was on her wit and charm had everyone falling in love with her and falling on the floor laughing. RIP Carrie. You'll be missed by millions

from when jason said "those howdies look great june" i laughed my ass off the whole way through. one of my fav episodes ever. and that's saying alot. just a quick thanks to paul, june and jason for another year full of terrible movies and countless laughs. the world might be going to shit but HDTGM just keeps getting better. can't wait to see what 2017 has in store. and more thank you's to marissa, avaryl, nate and all the gang behind the scenes. edit: forgot mr diaz ...cheers july

not calling anyone an asshole for not liking an episode ... thats never a problem ...if someone annoys you or shouts alot and takes away from your enjoyment ... complain away, thats ok .. but targeted harassment of a person just to indulge your own prejudices and being a dick in an other wise friendly, welcoming space and then running back to your home under a bridge .. that's what make an asshole. 2017 should be a no asshole year ... is that possible ... 2016 has been full of them ... 2016 is an asshole! note: i just noticed i called people assholes for being dicks ... makes as much sense as their nonsense .. but nicole would be a welcome allstar

the live show in January is looking like an all star episode ... oh man i hope they get cameron and pete back on and do something like showgirls, something worth shouting about ... just to piss off some of those a-holes on another site.

well the second part of the howdies is due on friday so, using my excellent never wrong guessing skills, i think we will get the howdies part 2 on the 23rd, howdies mini probably 30th(ish) and then back to the mini for grease 2/next movie early january .. and like i said i'm rarely wrong about these things ... by which i mean always so just disregard all that ... and i still haven't watched grease 2

Anyone see the holiday episode of the Goldbergs. 3 shout outs to HDTGM movies? Dan levy wrote it so I'm guessing if the show lasts long enough for them to get the the 2000s and something then glitter might get a shout out ... I love the show so I'd have no problem with that

i really hope they never do this mind-numbing movie. there's really only 2 moments of fun, the car accident and "errie thing gonna be irie" .. the rest is just dull.
