small correction ... paul got the movie years abit mixed up. this was the first 2005 movie covered so the last year, between 1980 - 2016, without a HDTGM movie is 1981. (there is 3 movies before 1980 but they are spaced out all the way back to 1969) https://docs.google....dit?usp=sharing

paul mentioned this was shot on an actual carrier and the issue of painting the navy in a good light was raised. alot of the military movies that use actual military hardware have to get clearance by the military first to ensure its not portraying a negative image. if they deem it is then they will refuse to allow access to their goods (thats fair enough i guess, they own the stuff). this goes all the way back to wings. it gets abit messy when they start to demand changes to scripts ... but that's a different discussion. (and i think they get to use it all for free) anyway, i had a feeling it was going to be abit of an advert for the navy when i opened up my 25 cent copy of the dvd. there was a leaflet inside giving the dvd chapter listings but on the same leaflet there was an advert for ... ...the royal navy. this is a UK/Ireland version so that's why its the royal navy but i wonder if this was used in other dvd regions for their navys ...

anyone see this trailer yet. on youtube since june? at the start i was "this looks terrible" but by the end i was "i kinda wanna see this"

another example ... they all seem low budget high concept with CGI out the hoohaa ..

saw that a while back, looks like x-men crossed with the avengers crossed with ... well, pretty much every big movie from the last few years. by the looks of it next year will be a big year for russian sci-fi. this trailer came out a while back too .. no idea whats going on but it looks like it might have a few good moments in it

oh and aisling, @WeeMissBea, is also in the third (and final) series of the fall . which was this weeks scheers pick of the week i remember those days .. one good movie for every ten you watch ... how long is it since the last episode? i don't think i've watch anything ... little or no tv, no movies ... what am i doing with my time? what am i doing with my life????

bought stealth on DVD today for 25 cents ... was i overcharged?

ive been laughing at this since yesterday ... we have a puppy and we try to wear him out by playing fetch with some toys. he loves small soft toys so we got him some movie related ones. anyway, yesterday we were playing with the joker ... and after he had enough and walked off i started to tidy up. i looked down to see this ..

maybe some genius here can help me ... this happened a while back and i still can't find what i did to cause it. the soundcloud player is just coming up blank in my firefox browser. it works in chrome but not on any site in firefox. it looks like this: ive cleared the cache, cookies etc. ive restarted firefox in safemode. ive disabled add-ons/extensions and re-enabled them ... but nothing seems to work. i remember before it happened i was trying to speed up firefox by disabling add-ons and stuff but like i said ive tried everything i can think of but the player just wont load. anyone know what i did to cause this and/or how to fix it? it's not a major thing but i'd like to get it back. any help appreciated ... again

i found number 82 of my HDTGM DVD collection yesterday, the awesome Lifeforce. so what do you do when you can't find a quality review to quote on the DVD cover? ... go to amazon reviews? No, too much work, just make one up Talk about bigging yourself up

only got to see this today and i still haven't heard the ep but i can't wait for the sequel ... i heard they recast though ... so who'd win in this fight???
