you just made me very happy. i was lucky enough to go to a screening of sing street a few months ago and i loved it. i went to the same kind of school as the main character and grew up around the same time. i could pretty much identify with the whole movie. nostalgia is a powerful thing. im delighted it got so much love in places like the uk and us. i wasn't sure how it would travel. and i kept thinking it could easily be a U2 bio. one of the kids is the spit of the edge. if you like it you should also check out "the snapper". its part of roddy doyles "barrytown trilogy" (the commitments, the snapper and the van). if you know any irish people ask them about the snapper. if they don't know it or say they don't like it tell them i said to hand in their passports ... its brilliant "get outta me way a dozy bollocks" will be funny to me till i die

i watched the hitcher last. its nuts. the phase "well that escalated quickly" came to mind. but on the dvd there is a very interesting extra with a title that caught my eye ... but its well worth a watch if you can find it and just on a fun note ... how did this get left in the movie .. had to rewind a few times

suns had his hat on for more than a day here for the first time in about two years so between getting scalded and catching up on my howdies homework i am way behind so i am just gona throw all this into one post. 1. those cups were empty 2. i'm guessing eddie izzard's part got cut alot when they were reducing this down to the 80 odd minutes cause his part was pretty much non-existant 3. i really want to meet Raef and call him Ralph just to see him go all voldemort on me 4. a really annoying thing ... They spend the whole movie talking talking talking in that old movie fast one liner way but when Uma and 2ma had their fight there isn't a single smart ass line. i mean this is the point were you want an arnie/sly type oneliner. but nothing. and then uma gets to make a big jump before 2ma and father get blown up ... again nothing. no terrible cheesey one liner, no arghhhhhh ... nothing. the whole fight and 2ma's death ware incredibly anticlimactic.... or anti - climatic, if you will ... see, that wasnt hard .. and 5. i know someone already posted about apex twin but this is how i imagine that board room meeting going if jason was there
