if you read the back cover blurb it actually sounds like a half decent sci fi. i love the list of not-so-special special features. surprised the movie isnt listed as one.... it has images, it has sound, youre welcome and remind me to never trust a review from the los angeles herald examiner .. again

i thought when she asked the other cop to close the door and keep look out she was gona use the toilet .... we could have had another death on the toilet bowl scene like SLEEPAWAY CAMP ... missed opportunity there

and finally this moment... they mentioned it in the ep but i thought it was just ramsey showing off for jackie, like a kid on a school yard. if you havent seen the movie try and find this scene cause the noises selleck makes are hilarious

also, this moment ..

another moment that made me burst out laughing was when they finished making the photo-fit of gene on the tablet he blinks because im sure when people have to use photo-fits they sometimes go "hmmm, im not sure if thats right .... can you make him blink? ... oh yeah, thats definitely him" i love this stupid movie

instant classic HDTGM moment. i had to go back and listen to it again. amazing.

understandably, there was alot of hate for this in the mini ep thread but for some reason i really enjoyed watching this, maybe i was just in a giddy mood or something, but like Gus, i laughed the whole way thru (all be it i was laughing at it, not with it) i think the gang did a great job covering this and covered most of my points but there are a few i want to mention: i guess my main question is: do you think Tom Selleck was disappointed on his first day working with the robots. this might have seemed like a great premise, chasing runaway robots who are firing guns, slicing people up ... then he turns up on set and he finds out he's working with oversized toasters. also, most of the time, if you wanted to avoid being killed by one of these stupid things you just had to take one step to the left and you would be fine ... then when Selleck went to the construction site with the robot throwing the bags of cement from a height, he asked the woman "why dont you just turn it off?". thats what i was thinking the whole way thru. but to be fair, they got some of the future tech spot on ... and to finish, are we going to hear Gus' opinion in the next mini?

nah .. its really lacking in content compared to the states one. we have to wait ages for new series and films .. if we get them at all. plus it costs more. geo blocking sucksss .. but there are ways around it i suppose i hear the one is australia is even worse

loved this doc, when they announced this was going to be featured on an episode i watched the doc and rewatched the first movie. loved both. i grew up loving the turtles, they were the only collecting cards i ever got into, i had the full set (i think i sold them for pennies later, big regret now) one of the best parts of the doc was the disappointment in the voices of everyone when they discussed this movie. "the first film was great, the second one ... ehhh not so much". and having watched the film again ... i know how they feel.

theres been some mentions of daredevil (example above) anyways, heres a few (flimsy) HDTGM connections:, as can be seen in the quote above, TMNT was abit of a parody of other works such as Daredevil and whos making an appearance in the next season of daredevil? .... the punisher punisher: war zone was directed by friend of the show lexi alexander (btw, lexi is directing an episode of arrow soon) lexi was part of the live tour for mortal kombat and speaking of live tours, another friend of the show, micheal ian black played one of the turtles (i think it was raph) on a TMNT promo tour to mexico back in the day (according to the turtles doc, he was one of the team used to promote the tour, but wasnt the turtle in the show) sorry about that ... i did say they were flimsy connections. i couldve also said michael ian black was on the anaconda episode, and fellow friend of the show, danny trejo, was in anaconda and starred in bad ass (ep. 39).... but i think i should stop. basically what im saying is, never mind 6 degrees of kevin bacon, HDTGM has taken over
