i assume there's a few Who fans in here: i never really got into Dr. Who but it's a nice pick. she's a great actor.

if you're in any bit of a bad mood i would recommend waiting till it lifts to watch this ... it felt about twice as long as it's running time. i was hoping it would cheer me up ... it did not. there's alot of love out there for it so it's probably just me and i'm looking forward to episode but i found this one a slog.

i'm not a gamer. i haven't played one in about 20 years but i would love to play one with jason mantzoukas as the main character. i'd imagine it would be a little 8-bit jason running around in his white shirt calling everyone jerks, secretly nerding out about harry potter and the final boss has to be a scary clown in a van

i like to think she was a young architect and this house was her dream project as she was growing up. that's why she was building the birdhouse. it's probably a model she built a thousand times growing up. and that's why/how she rebuilt the house after it got blown up. and maybe she comes from a wealthy family of architects and that's how they can afford such an expensive property in the first place. can't imagine cops earn enough to pay for something like this. i mean they should but i doubt they ever will. even timecops. but mainly i like to think she's an architect so that this would be the second time travel movie featuring an architect that HDTGM covered. that way timecop and the lake house are suddenly part of a very niche genre of movie.

i came here for some clarity and you guys have properly messed my brain up .. i love it but i need to stop reading these for a while .. i enjoy time travel movies but this is usually the end result. if only the makers of timecop had put as much thought into all this as you guys have

So say there are 2 JCVD's now in 2004 and one of them just returned home ... what the hell is going to happen when the second JCVD turns up? How do you explain that to the kid? And where do they live? They can't take the risk of living in the same house because of the whole "matter can't occupy the same space" thing. And if they do live in the same house, what would the sleeping arrangements be? What do you say to the neighbours? And who goes to the Parent teacher meetings? And then there's the whole social security thing and explaining it to doctors/hospitals ... It's almost as if the logic of timecop is flawed!

I've never heard of time chasers but just based on the opening sentences of the plot description on Wikipedia I want to!!! "Physics teacher and amateur pilot Nick Miller (Matthew Bruch) has finally completed his quest of enabling time travel, via a Commodore 64 and his small airplane"

and talking about not understanding the consequences of changing the past when time traveling, maybe one of you time nerds can help me out here cause i think i've confused myself ... i'm not sure this is going to make any sense but i'll give it a go ... 2004 JCVD went back to 1994, saved his wife and left her lying outside the house with the 1994 JCVD. then he travels back to 2004 and meets his 10 year old son who knows him as his father. So even though JCVD has no memory of the kid, the kid clearly knows him. So this kid must have been raised by the 1994 JCVD. But then our 2004 JCVD turns up and .... i guess what i'm trying to ask is .. are there now 2 JCVD's in 2004? The one doing all the time travel in this movie and the one who raised the kid for 10 years? because there was 2 JCVD's when he travels back to save his wife. and they both survived ... and if there's only one JCVD at the end of the movie (the guy we've been watching) where does the one who raised the kid go? he just disappears? he just went to work one day with 10 years of beautiful memories and then ... what?? just because our JCVD hops back into this timeline 1994 JCVD disappears??? have i got this all wrong? ... my head hurts.

when JCVD comes back to 2004 at the end he walks through the lab with a concerned look on his face. i think this was to convey that he was looking to see if anything had drastically changed but everything seemed to be normal. then his boss (who got riddled with bullets the last time JCVD saw him) comes out of his office and JCVD gets a really puzzled look on his face and this is their conversation : Boss: "Hey where are you going?" JCVD: "What happened to you?" Boss: "What are you talking about?" JCVD: "You're walking around ... ???" Boss: "Yeah, I've been doing that since I was about 2 ..... " etc etc I can understand why the boss is confused. The timeline was changed so he's not the one who got shot. But JCVD was there. He lived through that, went back, changed events and came back to the present ... Surely he should have just seen his boss and said "Oh thank God!!! You're not dead!!" or something similar. He seemed genuinely perplexed at how this man is now alive. This interaction really made me question if JCVD's character had any understanding of the consequences of time travel (or maybe more accurately, the consequences of changing the past when time traveling)

it was the release of electric boogaloo that inspired paul and the gang to cover movies like the apple. paul discussed it in a mini or two. they covered a few canon/canon-esque movies at the time but they were very difficult to find and after about 3 of them i think people were ready to move on. i think another series like that would be though going but i'd love to dip back in to the cannon library every now and again cause there's some fun looking movies there. but if they do then i hope they try to use the more readily available titles. i got abit huffy in the forums if i remember correctly. i live in ireland and our VOD options suck compared to all the titles available on US Netflix, Prime etc

there isn't anything really. just a quick reference back to the crap from previous minis but that's about it. there might be a reason for you to skip from the 13 min mark up to about the 14:20 mark ... it's a little creepy .. everything else is fine. there's actually a pretty cool theme song at the start edit: but i'm guessing the next mini might be a skipper. i just finished watching time cop and i completely forgot Mia Sara was in it so between her appearance and paul's encouragements i'd guess at least one guy is gonna call in ... but will paul play it???
