Loving Blaine's DMing, first off.

 

Could somebody please point out to them how magic missile actually works? 1 target+1/every odd Lvl through 9th.

Auto-Hit, 1D4+1 damage. That scene with Winter& Hug cross-blasting the entire row of skeletons was bizarre. You'd think that Blaine would point it out, seeing as he was *just* playing a Mage...

[Episode 78 — Into the Woods 2: Deeper & Darker]

I'm enjoying Blaine as DM and I especially like Houg.

 

Not to nitpick about rules but as an Illusionist, Houg shouldn't be able to cast Evocation/Invocation, Abjuration or Necromancy spells. Unfortunately, that includes Magic Missile (Evocation). Without magic missile, Houg might become even more reliant on illusions and misdirection insetead of damage, which might make some sense given his 1 hit point and desire to run away and hide. It might make for fun roleplaying too. I think a rainbow Color Spray spell would make him absolutely FABULOUS and keep with the Doug Henning theme.

Can you imagine when ( If ) poor Houg makes it high enough. Level to cast Phantasmal Killer???

Honestly, Sarah sounds like a blast to game with. She sits in a room full of guys making fart/vagina-beastie jokes and takes it in stride, and still manages to kick ass with Mildred like a champ.
