  1. It's simmered down recently but me and Tim have had an ongoing feud for a while now. It's been so long that I don't remember what we started fighting about in the first place

I actually *do* remember, because I'm not a GD frittata like Joey Girlman. Back a while ago, Joe said that he thought Hollywood Handbook should start taking stands on issues, and I was onthe side that that's not the place of the show.

  2. If I'm stack ranking people on this forum's profile pictures based on how much I think I could be best friends with them, it's gotta be:

    * Rod Aug (your face just has a "fun", "quirky" look to it. Also you look like you're going to be a great dad with that face)

    * Jacob C (good friend glasses. Plus I don't have glasses so we'd be a good match)

    * Chanson (I don't have a beard so we'd be a good fun match. Plus I met a guy ((not like 'met a guy', just like 'we talked for a while and hung out but it wasn't romantic or sexual or anything')) who kinda looked like you on Friday night, except he was British)

    * MBoP (Sorry MBOP. Someone's gotta be last. You're just a little too zoomed out in your pic so I have to judge you harshly for camera work/web design)

  3. 2 things about Hazie:

    1) Really letting that beard come in, huh? You wanna talk about it, bub? If you're hard for money and can't afford razors you can just use scissors to cut it down a bit.

    2) Not digging the Williams shirt... My GF during some high school and almost all of college went to Williams so I visited there a lot (I was at RPI, which was about 40 mins away), and I wasn't really feeling that school right now. I thought you were a Harvard mang anyway.

  4. Hey guys had my first improv class tonight. Going in I was really excited but then I got a little pessimistic because the rest of the class didn't look as funny as I thought (as stated here, lots of middle aged women, lots of annoyingly over-enthusiastic people, etc), but turns out I'm just a judgmental jerk because it ended up being lots of fun and most people were pretty funny.

I had some funny jokes. For example, we did this three-person exercise where we were planning a party, and we had to use "yes, but" instead of "yes, and". I started it off saying that I thought we should serve pico de gallo, and the other guy thought that "Pico de Gallo" was a person and me and the *other* guy kinda riffed on it for a while. Anyway, it was p fun. Loves and peace all.

Looking forward to another juicy ep tomorrow.

Oh, also, check this pish out:

I'm very excited for you. I think you'll enjoy it and you already have some pro tips from S + H, so I'm sure you will be king of your class. By the way, BATS often has classes in Palo Atlo if for some reason you don't like Made Up Theater. But in the first few foundation classes, it's all the same really.

I wish I could pop down to LA for 6 weeks and take some classes at UCB.

I wish they built that Elon Musk "get from SF to LA in 15 minutes" thing so I could go to more UCB shows.

We should do a HH "invade Sean's UCB show" night

  6. Mean Detective and Tim, I take improv classes. I felt a little silly about it at first, but I absolutely love it now. It's pretty therapeutic and super fun. Don't be nervous, Tim! I think you'll enjoy it. Which theater are you going to? I take classes with BATS Improv.

I don't yet hate myself enough to make the commute from the south bay up to SF every week, so I went with Made Up Theater in Fremont.

  7. I set my Handbooks on auto play so they play while I am asleep, so when my dream of Hayes and Sean turned into a scaremare of big ants and Ana Gasteyer's face I woke up.

p.s. just came up with scaremare pretty cool right?

    Is this the scaremare?

  8. Hey guys, saw Oddball Fest tonight. I know that right now is the question-asking part of the thread, so I'll say what I was going to say as questions.

Did I miss Moshe Kasher (the first performer)? Was I bummed about that and how the people I was with didn't know him and thus weren't getting their butts in gear?

Was Demitri Martin still very funny? Where has he been the past few years, if he still has it?

Why is Mark Maron such a cranky dick? Is he still pretty funny even though he is a dick?

Why did only one person yell "POINTS!" at Chris Hardwick? Why wasn't that person me?

Who did I think was funniest, and was it Jim Gaffigan or Louis CK (the obvious choices?)?

When one of the comedians came out and did a funny sort of faux-excited dance, did I think back to last February when I saw Stella at SF Sketchfest and they did that? And is this a video of it filmed by Wain's wife: http://instagram.com/p/j3PF6dGs64/? And do I actually think Stella did it funnier because they committed more and I guess really I just am on their same wavelength more?

    Thanks for answering my questions!

  9. not pleased with the NH hate i'm feelin in this forum rite now... so much hate i need an ak... HAHA WHAT NOW GUYS MUSIC AM I RITE... anyway, mwn can you tell tim i am no longer speaking to him, thanks. i'd put others on blast but the cut from tim is the deepest since i thought we had new england pride in common...

oh and there are some wayyyyyyyyy wayyyy worse places than NH that other forum members are from.. like, there's someone who posts here regularly who lives in florida :o

but yeah, obviously a good ep. thanks sean and hayes and pete! glad agata isn't gone forevs.

Freezuz, for what it's worth, I've only spent time in NH (not driving through) twice. In college, a bunch of high school friends all went up to one guy's family's skiing house (yeah they are rich). It was lots of fun, BUT, turns out the kid whose family owns the place is kind of a huge dick. Plus my long-term GF kind of sort of left me for him (it's complicated... let's sit down with some nonfat soy green tea to talk about it some time), so NH is basically "ew" for me right now and I'm sorry but that's not something I can really control, ya dig?

  10. NH may be a flyover state (and I can say that without offending inhabitants because my cell phone was assigned a 603 area code), but I prefer to drive juuuust over the border so I can buy fireworks and super cheap booze. Taxachusetts is such a bummer sometimes, you guys.

All NH means to me is "annoying tolls and traffic on 95".

Freezus: sorry my "Masshol* Maine Tourist" is showing :/ :\
