  1. Found this archival footage from the original forumer meet up last summer. I remember the long nights in the warm Roman countryside drinking wine and laughing and crying and hugging. Valerie and Chanson had that little bit of a fight but they made up the next morning. Sean let Greggy sit on his lap. Oh, and the food. Oh mama mia the food. Hayes can really make a nice Bolognese sauce.

  2. I've been to North Adams once or twice (My gf in college went to Williams), and yeah it's pretty much nothings. Williamstown at least has a film festival that I could see doing a comedy show during.

Also NV is way better than 3. NV was so good. So good. Just so amazingly good. I explored every vault in NV because every single one was interesting. Also the choices between factions was really cool. NV is one of my favorites. I loved NV so much.

  3. Very good ep. That Rob Reiner's son is really moving laterally in the world.

Also I DID go see RanRan's band last night and they ARE good, and ALSO nice (& smart & funny). One highlight of the show was RanRan's friend being slightly accosted by a greaser with a long red ponytail he had tucked into a hat.

    That's Nashville for ya, baby.

  4. SteveH I feel like you did a really bad job with my song.

While art is not truly owned by the artist (me), it is owned collectively by everyone who loves and finds meaning in that art. Therefore it's not so much me whom you've hurt; everyone on these forums and all the listeners to Hollywood Handbook have had to deal with the grief of your disrespect.

That song is bigger than me. People love that song. Remember when Roseanne did the National Anthem? Remember how she's not very popular anymore? Don't be a Roseanne.

  5. Did anybody actually read my post? I said this episode was a pleasant departure from the Armen I ususally loathe.

Reading comprehension- not your forte, guys.

    Β

Then that post was a surprisingly enjoyable read compared to the absolute garbage you usually put out.

    Β

See how that's not actually a nice thing to say?

  6. Hey guys sorry about the downtime. I'm back up now. It's funny because my professional job is site reliability.

However, my website is a custom binary on a Raspberry Pi, running in my closet. So any internet or power issues at home will cause it to have problems. In this case it looks like my load-shedding code seems to have misbehaved. A restart of the binary seems to have fixed it.

  7. I'm really not a fan of the CBB "spin-off" podcasts. It's kind of overkill with those characters and just never as funny as when they're on CBB.

    Β

ADPPP was even funnier I think. ADPPP #1 Wit and Wisdom of the West is oen of my favorite single episodes of a podcast ever.

LL is a little bit hit-or-miss. I tend to really like the toned-down ones that are very NPR-style. And TGIGotGOST, obviously, was the exception and the strongest episode overall.

But they're making fun of the racism in the Adam Sandler movie. It seems like you guys are on the same side of the issue

    Β

The article linked argues that that doesn't matter. The article (over-simplified and possibly misunderstood) is essentially saying that the context of what the true meaning is doesn't matter; the article is claiming that what people say *prima facie and on the surface* can still be hurtful and racist.
