  1. Joe is dogs and Tim is cats.

Joe pretends to love everyone, but it's cheap, and as soon as the deliveryman is at the door ringing the bell he loves that guy more than even his oldest friends.

Tim is a cat. Tim is respectable and agile on his feet, and you have to earn his love. There are two tiers of #teamtreese-dom: Foot soldiers and honored members. People I've met are eligible to be honored members. That means you're in luck Anastasia, Val, Val's Joe, Girl Jo, Sean, Hayes, Agata, Andy, Adam, Mikal Cronin, engineer Sam, engineer Brett, July, Gabe, Avery, and sort of DC (he gave me a water bottle so that counts). Also I met Matt Gourley that one time and he seemed really cool so he's in. Everyone else is in the "like" circle, but only those respected individuals are in the "love" circle.

Respect yourself and be on #teamtreese.

  2.

It was a one-handed catch up high from pretty far away. Very smooth and impressive. It was a regular size, maybe 16 oz bottle. I believe it was Arrowhead.

It was DC's water and he tossed it to me. He'd had some of it already. I tried to toss it back (you can hear that happening) because I was worried he actually needed it back. I didn't drink from it, so DC and I are still not yet spit brothers.

I thought this was a great article

Oh my god they link to https://www.facebook...e=1&pnref=story in that article... it's so unbelievably heartbreaking. I guess it should have been obvious that the relapse was very brief (probably just the one time?), but seeing his words and optimism about his cleanness from just 5 days before his death hurts so much.

  4. I don't think I've ever laugh-cried before, but it's all I've been doing. Every old foam joke, every old tweet, every old Jack bit... the funnier it is the sadder it is.

I don't know how to deal with this sadness :(. One of the articles gave his approximate home address. I looked it up. Anastasia and I drove right by his house this week. That doesn't actually mean anything. It just feels like... just a few days ago things seemed OK. We actually talked about him and hoped that he was doing well.

There are so many classic funny tweets/jokes/bits from Harris. I think my favorite right now is from F&P2:

Scott: "How do you know when you're working and when you're living?"

Harris (Rod): "Well, we actually have a rule: If you're working, you have to have like a hard hat on, and if you're living, you always have to have a margarita."

Scott: "That's a great rule, just for anyone out there."

Harris (Rod): "Actually, our first <uncontrollable laughter> our first album is called <uncontrollable laughter> 'Hard Hats and Margaritas'."

  5. I've never been so personally upset by a celebrity death before. I always would make fun of it, because it had never been someone I loved so much. Harris brought me (and all comedy fans, and people who didn't even know who he was) so much happiness.

Comedy fans deal with things through comedy. We listen to comedy when we're happy to make us even happier. We listen to comedy when we're sad. We listen to comedy when we're bored. It's often light on the surface, but so deeply meaningful because of how important it is to us. It's everywhere in our lives.

I don't know anyone in my real life who loved Harris, and I don't know how to express my sadness anywhere but here, because I know you people are all feeling the same thing. This one is going to take a long time to get over.

I'm going to go for a run and listen to some Harris.
