An actual regular Paul F. Tompkins podcast again? I loved the Tompkast and I'd be delighted to see it resurrected some day, but this sounds fantastic! And I really do believe that it's not a cruel April Fools joke. Best news I've heard in some time.

I'm so ridiculously happy this is out and I can't even begin to explain it to anyone I know. Feels like Christmas morning when these eps drop.

Great ep. So happy to have Scotty Auk on again. And hearing the baby in the background delighted me to no end. I kind of want June and Paul's son to be in every episode now.

Like most people here it seems, I totally lost it during the pre-recorded podcast. That editing was perfect. When the buzz first comes in, when it goes out and the Dentist starts talking, and then when it starts to come back in, unbelievable. I couldn't breathe. Great stuff all throughout too. That 'tiny buzz' joke Scott threw out seemed too good to be an ad lib. Ooh, that Jazz! Good ep. Great ep, actually.

Woohoo! Saucerman on the show again! Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who Gooby made them think of the weird dog/bear guy that was blowing a dude in The Shining. I couldn't find a photoshop of them merged, so I went ahead and made one. Way scarier than the Kubrick version to me. EDIT: Just checked the thread for the main ep (episode) and saw that user 'must turd' had done a great job with this exact concept last week. Oh well. This episode was really, really good. I ain't no fancy, big-city AV Club writer, but I'd say this is among the best, not the rest.

I can only assume that Scott and Scott's college girls podcast will be dropping twice a week until U2 releases the new album.

The number actually reminds me of Paul Rust's Dr. Traygo's creeeeepies.

Well dang it, now I have to stay up and listen to this episode before going to sleep. I'm just worried that Doug's lackadaisical persona might not mesh with the laser focus and tight pacing this show is famous for. EDIT: I'm delighted at how nonplussed Doug is by the lack of Scott and Scott talking U2 to him. Great episode. They really get inside baseball about how insane the production's creation and history is and it's fascinating.

I'm all for the name Chev Chelios. But seriously, Angela is the only name for a girl/boy. Angela... such a lovely name. Why, I believe it means angel. Why yes, I'm sure it does!

This year has already been saturated with my favorite people and then Weird Al and PFT show up. An embarrassment of riches.
