Captain Seas

Finally watched this for the first time. I didn't think this was really a bad movie at all and a lot of fun at parts, but holy shit do you need a lot of patience. I was ready to throw in the towel at the 45 minute mark and then it started getting good. Strange the read that the studio fucked with the final product so much and kept it so long.

Got excited when they announced this one. I think it falls in line with the newer Fast and Furious movies and Crank in that it's successful in it's intentions but still crazy enough to talk about. Though the sequel (and both the live action series and cartoons) that is spawned are much worse, I am glad they went with this one. Not too interested in sitting through the sequel again. A lot of Paul (not Thomas) Anderson's work would fit in with the podcast for better or worse.
