"Bob/Robert Gray" is one of the personas mentioned/assumed by Pennywise in It - at one point, he claims it to be his real name, and I remember a short part of the story dealing with the idea of Bob Gray as one of many possible 'origin stories' for It/Pennywise.
Drats! You beat me to it.
Â
p.s. I can't believe I actually just typed "drats".

About 30 minutes in I was like, "Why haven't they mentioned Corey Haim yet?" Then I realized that I mixed this movie up with Prayer of the Rollerboys.

This may be a nitpick-y correction, but when Jon says that, if this had been Bloodsport, Jackson would have fought to Lynyrd Skynyrd, he uses the common mispronunciation Lin-nerd Skin-nerd. The correct pronunciation is Leh-nerd Skin-nerd, which is made clear by the title of their first album "Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd".

It would've been funny if the holiday special had been a deal breaker when Disney bought Lucasfilm. I could see Lucas being like, "You can have everything but the holiday special. I wanna make sure that shit stays in the vault." And Disney would be like, "If we can't have the holiday special, then screw it, the deals off."

Candace Cameron (the Cameron sister with the eating problem) was on Full House, not Growing Pains.

Another misuse of the word nonplussed. From the best dictionary source anywhere, the Urban Dictionary:
nonplussed
Often misused as meaning unfazed, but actually means bewildered.
English majors are nonplussed about how "nonplussed" has, over time, become so misused.

Anyone have a link to the Staying Alive featurette mentioned by an audience member?

Does anyone else think Satan's Alley sounds like a term for anal sex?

I checked out Dr. Jacques Coulardeau's amazon review after listening to this minisode. Check out the responses to the review.
Â
thomas caniglia says:
The podcast "How Did This Get Made" spotlighted this as this movie's most insane review.
Â
Jacques COULARDEAU says:
I am absolutely glad to be declared "the most insane reviewer." Better be the most anything than nothing at all.

I would prefer changing sexual orientation if I had to be such a psycho psychiatric head shrink. I would turn to dogs or maybe monkeys.

I still remeber seeing this peice of shit in the theater. What can I say, I was young and confused. Stupidest scene: When Rodman uses a Coke Machine to block the flames form an explosion.Coke Machine to block, which was the worst prodcut placement since Bill Cosby daintily waved around a Coke bottle so that the label was facing the camera in Leonard Part 6. Also, how the hell does Rodman's character find the time to change his hair color throughout the movie?
