Some things I loved about the ep: - PFT - "Hey Nineteen" being sung with such gusto. Steely Dan!! - Al Stewart also being sung with gusto...my PFT and HR Giger. I only know "Year of The Cat" which is a good dadrock kind of tune, imho. - They played my Plugs theme! Surreal! And even went in-depth into the punniness of my musical nom de plume. And yes, I was going for a Prince(Print)-esque vibe.

I've thought about this too, U2 were always seen as the coolest Christian band back in the day. I'm not sure how that holds up now post-Achtung Baby, but that's def something they could talk about for...I don't know, maybe 10 minutes.

I was wondering why they didn't go into an ep of "Eagle Doc Talk" but then I realized it's because Scott A. would never co-sign on that. It was still awesome to hear Adam and Jimmy go in so hard (for what seemed like fifteen minutes total) on the Eagles doc and Scott writhing in agony.

Weirdly I had been listening to the Benny Schwaz/PFT episode repeatedly for the past week so I was pretty pumped for this Solo Bolo. I usually hate musicals but hearing that Little Shop of Horrors song was pretty great. And yes, Ben has a different energy than PFT or Adam Scott but I dig it. Definitely can't think of "Superstition", or 13-month old babies, in the same way again.

I had never heard of this movie Bring On The Night (not the biggest Sting fan in the world, true story) so I had to look up this trailer for myself. I was 100% sure that Scotts/Paul were making up the bit about Sting singing the Flintstones theme, but nope. 1:31. Also this movie looks completely awful.
